Why don't you make it an item that costs 0 gold, does apsolutely nothing but can be dropped? Will help techies sett up traps and it should say GG branch when you hover you're mouse over it, so that you have an distraction for you're enemies.

Does nothin but after dropped attaches to enemy equip slot when he comes to close. Cant be dropped or sold unless dead, may attach do other item slots randomly. All the mates would avoid the hero carrying this Book of evil unless they want 1 item slot less
