Default [Aghanim's] for Batrider


Changelog:
275 cast range, 4.5 duration
or
275 cast range, 4.5 duration and extra MS for 4.5 duration (while dragging), could be +20 or +30

General:
• If the distance between the Batrider and the target is more than 400 the lasso breaks.

=>

• If the distance between the Batrider and the target is more than 500 the lasso breaks.

Version 2:

Take a look at version 1, only one change: Batrider gets extra MS for the duration of flaming Lasso, 20 or 30MS.

in short: 20/30 extra ms, 4.5 duration and 275 casting range skilllevel 3
or without a casting range improvement.

Comment & proposed change:
The cooldown is already low enough. The duration (drag-time) is good too, but we can change something here. 0.5 more for every level, results in 4.5 seconds drag when the skill is on level 3. But that's only a nice side-effect in my suggestion.
The bigger part is to add more Casting Range to Flaming Lasso. Flaming troll warlord's run very fast, so getting them with a low cast range is very hard

Aghanim's Scepter changes the casting range from 175 to 250 or 275 or 300. Or is a part of the suggestion, that does not mean that it gets higher when the skill is higher.

(level 1: 175, level 2: 250, level 3: 300) <- not like this.

So lets just take 275, IceFrog decides it in the end, but I think 275 is a good suggestion and still balanced.

MS of path is under 1kB, weapon-attachment is under 9kB. around 9.3kB total.
^ As stated by Infrisios, this is completely wrong. With MPQ compression it's around 1kb.

That's why I posted this suggestion, tell me where to improve.

I thought about improving the casting range to 350, or another idea I had in my mind was to give bat rider a movement speed improvement for the seconds he's dragging a unit, 20 +MS sounds good.

What do you think about that?

I kind of agree with The-Shaman, that this upgrade won't be very powerful and a lot of players would consider that Agh's doesn't worth its cost. But, let's not forget the stats that Agh's offer which can be useful on Bat. I T-up, though I think the numbers could be tweaked a little and I'm waiting for the visual effect!

That is much better but its really wasted if u IE. get haste. This is really situational so improve range by 100 and give +30 MS for the time of flaming lasso that i would T-up

A better suggestion would be that he grapples units in a small aoe. Would make him better teamplayer I think. I like the effect for aga btw.

Your sugg is partly good but the thing that he could mass lasso ppl would bee overpowered, don't you think? It would be hes core always and everyone would get only that one item. too imba upgrade.

No. All fire effects are currently overused and they look horrible on Batrider, think of triple fire while Fireflying, thats horrible. Take a look at my Effect, we just finished it.

i think that the fire trail is good but the ball of fire is ugly.

The problem with bat is, that you need to go to your enemies. So you used Dagger but what then? U R DEAD! You need some kind of buff to escape the enemies easier like Aghanim buff. Good idea! T up

I need to say, the Visual effect looks pretty nice, maybe the trail Bat leaves behind is a it too long. Note to testmap: You maybe should also put a normal model in it, so people can spot the difference more easy.

For the upgrading stuff: I like version 2 most. I think 20 extra ms are fair. The extra casting range (I vote for 275) is also a nice addition. I think it would be no wasted item on him with these extras. T-up!

T-up for the visual effect! (already T-upped in visuals) I like your suggestions for the Aghanim upgrade, but the bonus ms can have some negative effects so I suggest also increasing the breaking limit to 500.

I think adding some damage/sec (fire, so synergies with the other skill) would make agh worthy buying.
