Casual Techies (anti-pushes.. pusher and ganker)

Intro ... (why i post this replay) :

I've noticed that many people dont like techies .. and when they see Techies in thier team they became pessimistic . and they say "we have a useless hero here" and when a player leave from the other team and ask for switch ... they say "its 4 Vs 4 + Techies .. Techies not a hero " .. so i posted this replay hopping that this thoughts get changed .

Info about this game :

* I've used the old fashioned way to get first blood , but 4 mines were not enough so i used Techies secret weapon to get it .
*At some point we almost lost (till about min 30)
*I've died for once and suicided for 3 times final score (13-4 beyond godlike).
*Broodmother got feeded will .. so she was their strong piont (and she has big mouth ) .
*Game duration about 60 mins
*Sry for some bad mouth players in that game (dont pay attention for them)
*Broodmother got gem (although its not good idea especially that they have slark and himself ) but after its too late ... because at that time I had my Aghanim's Scepter .

Nice game overall. But just one advice from an other techie-fan If you don't build Orchid first it's pretty useless later. You was earning money like an idiot to that time and easy able to farm Guinsoo fast. It countered Spider and Slark (and even Slardar) more than Orchid i think.
Orchid first works nice because of the imba regen, but later Guinsoos is much better.

Apparently Yurnero was noob as fuck, Lancer was noob as fuck(Turkish I suppose), 2 Vlads on Scourge, basically what won you the game was Mirana, although I would've gone for a different orb. Good job tho You had no use for Force staff i think, you could've tried Shiva instead, but I guess it didn't really matter.

That's why they call it a carry!

Everyone has his role!

Techie's one is that of the best defender in the game!

But you wouldn't be able to carry against Slardar,cough*Slark*cough,Broodmother and Void as good as Mirana!

Then again with two carries in your team that haven't been able to farm(Yurnero and Phantom Lancer),Mirana wouldn't have been able to win this without techie's help!

I don't understand.. I can't seem to watch the replay, after you guys choose the hero, everyone just stays in base even after 15minutes? o_O and remain lvl 1, but I can still see you guys chatting and stuff.

What's the problem?

Thanks for the advice Bender ..but as u said Orchid gives imba regen at first and all the time and thats what i really needed ... in the other hand Guinsoo gives lower mana regen and harder to build in early game (u know 2100 + 2700 + 875) and its parts not as useful as Orchid parts ... plus Orchid amplifies the damage on the targeted enemy (although i didnt have the chance to benfit this feature ) .

i know Guinsoo is a standard techies item because of its mana regen. and the very useful hex but as u have seen in the replay i didnt need the hex ... i didnt even needed the wind :P ..... in the end all wt i needed is just to have enough mana .. so i dont have to go back to base ... Thanks again

Thanks dindin anyway .... mirana was a good player ... but if u noticed that he in some point said "GG" and started to accept the lost :P .
and about Force .. I usually dont buy it ...but i had a plan in my mind that i havent have the chance to apply ..
and shiva mmmm im not a fan of this item .

Nice ..... i really thought that u will lose , one of the best techies games , and i think mirana get strong because of techies . techies opened the way for mirana to get feeded and leveling up , and thats what mades the differance .

XD thx ... u should always remember that Techies has a normal attack that u can use sometimes (especially to harass opponent players ) , and to last hit them .

So I watched your replay and I really liked it. It's actually the first replay I ever watched, so it was a little hard to use. How come you can't rewind? This was very annoying to me. I'd miss something and I wouldn't be able to go back.

This game was very intense (like camping) to me because it did not seem like you were going to win. With Brood being so fed early, I thought it was gg. But by placing all of your bombs in the correct places at the correct times, you were able to stop any and all tower attempts. I thought it was cool how you actually could tell which tower they were going to try and take next, and then promptly mine it up.

After watching this video, I wanted to attempt to practice techies on the AI map. I set it to 2v2 only mid and boy it did not work out very well. I can see that techies is truly a support hero. My partner was Rhasta who fed AM and Drow the entire game lol. I tried implementing some of your setting techniques however they got a gem and we were never able to take it from them. So yea, it sucked. I did however take from it some much needed practice setting mines and bombs and getting the feel for the character.

Quick techie story. I played with a techies once, and he was at least as good as you. I'm not sure what he did, for I could not watch his replay, but he was the highest level the entire game LOL. He had so much money that he got a Eye of Skadi which I thought was hilarious on a techies. I can't remember his exact build but whatever he did, worked lol.

Anyways, thanks for posting your replay. I learned a thing or two about techies and might try to pick him sometime.

I really like your techies playing .
I try to play well techies, but the way you get your items is quite good .
But I really want to see, if the game is not all about defend how will you go your items :-?
I usually get dagger to play with stun traps, it goes quite well

Good playing. However, you should use your items more. You make items and never activate despite numerous opportunities.

Force Staff is a great choice, as long as you activate it!

er sry but y do ppl think its a good idea to get orchid on techies? ur wasting 2700 gold on quarterstaffs. if u want good regen just buy 2 void stones which is 1750 gold for 200% regen. and at the begining, shouldnt techies buy a courier and bottle and constantly refill the bottle by sending courier back with bottle and use potions as well becuz techies cannot go back to base or else he loses precious exp that he so desperately needs. and hell yes on the forcestaff.
