Default [VISUAL] Night Stalker Casting Animations

With the visual change of Hunter in the Night of Night Stalker, I wanted to make the hero more perfect by giving his casting animations some unique flavor since Void, Crippling Fear and Darkness all have the SAME casting animations.

So I propose new casting animations for Crippling Fear and Darkness.

The animation would look like this. By the way this animation and idea came from Schremba so credits goes to him:



specifications of the animation:

1.) Use "Spell Three" animation for the casting of the skill
2.) A dark dummy unit (larger size) will be displayed at the back depicting the "FEAR" demonic aura (if I made the explanation wrong I hope Schremba helps in explaining Crippling Fear since this awesome animation is his idea)

This is purely cosmetic / visual change. No mechanics changes here or anything... Just the animation. Now doesn't it look cooler than the current one, having the demon behind him and all

Please try the test map and see why its way cooler! The screenshots doesn't do the animation justice. Yes credits goes to Schremba for the test map too

Specifications of the animation:

1.) Use "Spell Slam" for the casting animation
2.) Play "UndeadBuildingBirth1.wav" sound at the casting of Darkness to give it an eerie feeling of Darkness looming over whole map

There are no changes in the mechanics only the animations. The animation shows that Night Stalker is conjuring darkness by raising his arms like and joined with the UndeadBuildingBirth1.wav it makes it creepy.

There is no msi here or any changes in the mechanics. This suggestion is only for the casting animations of the skills to make Night Stalker cooler

Awesome.Hope it gets implemented.One doubt though,does it prolong the cast animation time from the current one and can it be cancelled ??

Even if the 'Spell-Third'-animation looks much longer than the current casting animation (it actually IS longer) it hasn't gameplay issues. The spell point won't be changed, meaning the spell will take effect after 0.3 seconds. The rest of the animation can be canceled, and after the backswing point is reached, it will be canceled automatically.

Yes this has no gameplay issues. Thanks again Schremba for the wonderful test map and awesome Crippling Fear animation. It's EPIC!

Thanks for the comments and feedback DOTA Community. I hope this pushes through in the game

Technically, it kind of change the gameplay a little. now there is a bigger penality for not doing animation canceling.

I'd like to see more of these. DotA is wasting 50% of awesome animations and uses spell,slam for every single spell.

Yes there are a lot of very good animations for the models but they are not used

I hope this one goes through and there would be some changes for other heroes to make it look cooler.
