Default [ITEM] Vital Aspect


Introduction:
Inspired by % based skills that deal attribute damage, I decided to create an item that resembles that, and this has been in my mind conceptualizing for quite some time now.

The Item:


Vital Aspect - Imbued with the magical essence of the holder, it empowers them, creating a field of vital energy to their next attack.

Strength Version:
+ + + =
150g + 150g + 1000g + 700g = 2000g


Agility Version:
+ + + =
150g + 150g + 1000g + 700g = 2000g


Intelligence Version:
+ + + =
150g + 150g + 1000g + 700g = 2000g


The Effects:
+ 13 (STR/AGI/INT)
Vital Aspect: Passive
- Every attack has a 25% chance to deal 50% of current primary attribute in pure damage.

Might (STR-version): Active
- When casted, holder gains +8 armor and a 8/hp regen for 5 seconds, and deflects 250 damage (all types of damage) throughout the duration.

Stamina (AGI-version): Active
- When casted, holder gains 25% increased MS/AS, and unable to be slowed (by spells and buff placers) for 5 seconds.

Fluctuate (INT-version): Active
- When casted, holder gains a mana burning/gain (25 mana per attack lost on enemy and gained to user) attack every other attack, also granting a limit of 1 no-mana spell (non-ultimate) for 5 seconds. (Gives the holder 1 chance to cast a spell without using Mana)

Cooldown: 25 (all levels)


How does this work?
Let's say your a Faceless Void and you decide to get the Agility version of this item. Let's say too that he is Level 11 and has a current attribute of 67. 50% of 67 is 33.5. This way, Void will deal 33 pure damage in his next attack.

The active skill will work correspondingly to your item of variant.


FAQ:
Can i get 2 Vital Aspect items?
- No. You are only limited to one, this is so to avoid abuse.

If i buy the wrong components, can i still switch it like Power Threads?

- No. The components are completely different and distinguishable. Common sense is needed... please.

I believe you should give each item a special ability depending on the version the have. For example, intelligence has a chance to steal mana on each attack, agility has a chance to increase attack speed for a duration, and strength has a chance to gain additional regeneration.

50% is definite IMBA but unique effects for stat's variant is ok.

Put a cap on Vital Aspect which increases with each recipe purchase.
Have a progressive increase with each unique effect for STR/INT/AGI with each recipe purchase.
I would make the recipe upgradable 3 times. Make the recipe cost 600.

IMO the STR version is very underpowered when compared with the others. Also make it so that the INT version will not give free Ultimates or Item casts.. Can you imagine a Refresher?

rofl.. now your just degrading yourself.

Hey man, since your all active and all this, can you just help me do some icon-hunting? Need some help.. they need to look quite identical, but have some connection to the image of the icon whether STR/AGI/INT.

For the icons maybe you could make it masks, I know CrazyRussian made 3 similar masks and posted them on hive, search for crazyrussian's icons.

the icons looks bad. Anyway, i have some in game icons.
