IMHO his skillset needs to be purple-ish and not green

T-down for all changes. The only icon change I'd like to see on OD is his orb.

I think green theme feels better so I used it..

I'll find the purple one also.... I used green theme since the arcane orb simply looks good...

To be honest, purple as a color is really fitting for hero such as Obsidian.
It's dark, enigmatic and very evil-wizard like. I don't fully understand this change.

Well, I can agree that the colors are slightly cluttered. But however I do like the fact that his spammable, and basically the core ability, the ability that you never play Obsidian without, is differently colored, making it stand out. And most of all it fits the animation.

These other changes I shall go step by step

ASTRAL IMPRISOMENT

This, I actually could accept. But not as a part of something whole, but as an individual.
It fits the casting animation (GREEN pulsing slightly transparent ball). Themetically, the improvement could be very arguable. Current shows an unit being targeted, or inside, somekinda purple runic circle. Numbers "999" (666) fits his evil nature, but I never really found Obsidian as a satanic creature. Just plain evil and intelligent, not any kind of cultist.

ESSENCE AURA

This. Umm.. I don't know. Could be approved, since it reminds me of Harbringer's staff. Or it could be it. The model's staff is whole lotta different, but no one's gonna pay attention. Although, the recoloring is crappy. It doesn't sound with the other greens. Make it more grassy green, like the Anti-Magic Shell icon.
But as itself, the current icon isn't specificly flawed. It could be the animation that's shown when it triggers. And it has purple and very very magicish and astralish touch in it.

The recoloring failed. I don't oppose recoloring as long as it's done right, but here it hasn't been.

SANITY'S ECLIPSE

Uh. What is the big flaw in the current icon? Let's first go trough the flawedness of the suggestion.

I see you got attached with the word Eclipse. The phenomenal that takes place in space, and is seen in the Earth as the blocking of Sun. Well, that's the point. He has nothing to do with the moon. He isn't follower of Elune or such. This is too literal.

What you should see is Sanity's Eclipse. Eclipse is a metaphora. Moon = Sanity. No.
If Sanity was moon, and something blocked it = Sanity gets blocked, what does that mean? State of insanity, when being pretty literal. The theme of the spell is about intelligence, wisdom, and the difference between amounts of them.

That current icon isn't 100% Sanity's Eclipse, because the name is very tricky. And that's a good thing if the icon is tricky as well. The creature seems superior, evil, and as he would approach to you. Well, Harbringer is in superior state with his intelligence (usually), abusing it as a source of somekinda damage. And he's evil. It isn't exactly a replica of Harbringer, but it could be his spiritial, astral self. Or something.
Maybe in somekinda Astral world, where he is superior and dominates stuff, he is able to get in touch with everyone's minds (intelligence), and hurt them trough that.

The good thing here is, that everyone can figure out their own meaning.

Yeah sorry about that. I screwed up and then got pissed off because it wouldn't fix so I decided to be lazy >_>. I'll try to fix it later today.

Well obviously you didn't aim for perfect and superior icon, but something that gives a nice idea where you are heading.

I think its not the icons that need changing, but the effects of his abilities. Icefrog should make him have less random colors (Green, Green, Blue, Red -_-)
Null, some look ok, like the Ultimate, but I don't really like the Essence Aura.

The main problem is that I wanted a simple recolor and then it turned messy (also I am using Paint.NET which I am not very fluent in). I will try to fix it and make it look good later today. I don't think the snarky comment was necessary.

= the original icon of this is?? it might look good for an eclipse icon.

The essence aura is a bad recolor. and current skillset is fine. It's not that of a color set but i'd agree to this.

Old 1st skill icon, The Anti magic shell icon, Then the old sanity eclipse and essence aura icon.

even though the ulti shows a goblin, it still looks like a malicious harbinger ready to eat ur brainz.

Original icon is purple... Current eclipse icon is fine in my opinion BTW...
