Prologue ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The icon of Shrapnel resembles some spikey balls flying through the air, allthough these pallets aren't even spikey ingame. Suggestion The path to this model is: Abilities\Weapons\MakuraMissile\MakuraMissile.mdl These spike projectiles leave a windy blue-ish trail and spin ridiculously fast. Unfortunately I don't have enough knowledge to code this, so I just modded WarCraft 3, so I actually already have the files ingame and I'm able to use the projectiles in any normal game like a pub (which is very cool), although others can't see those. Download Shrapnel.rar, move the folder hidden in there into your WarCraft 3 Folder and start the game, enjoy! Note: If that doesn't work, download CustomWC3.rar and execute the .reg-file hidden in there before you start WarCraft 3. What this does: This replaces the Makura-Missile (Suggested) with the Boat-Missile (Current). Because the Makura-Missile uses the sound of Luna's Glaves, I replaced the sound with the Boat-Missile Explode-Sound. |

Yes, I'll try to paint the model allthough I never edited a model before. If this would be a change to the actual map you could just easily tint it blue to fit the icon and the trail. Although the red projectiles fit the explosion over Sniper's head when using the skill!

Wow. It's pretty nice and now I'm using it in-game. It's better than the current one.
Good job. T-UP Edit: Can you slow down a bit the animation? It's too fast now, imo.

It just look like it's fast because the projectiles are not as big as the current. I can't change the size nor the speed of the projectile as this is just a replacement of a model and a sound. The only one who could change the size or the speed would be Icefrog. I personally would prefer having them bigger.

I guess it's better, although not by much. Without the explosions when it lands, it kinda looks more like some asteroids falling, and it doesn't fit IMO with the effect of the skill.
I'll give you half a T-up. |
