Default [ITEM]Biggoron's Axe


Biggoron's Axe



(Taken from WoWWiki's icon list)

A humongous axe so big that enemy attacks gets blocked when you're attacking them. Gives +10 agi, +25 damage, Damage Block(Passive) and Parry(Passive).

Damage Block:
Gives a 100% chance to block 30 damage if wielder is melee, 100% chance to block 15 damage if wielder is ranged.

Parry:
For every attack you do, you get a 8% chance for melee and 6% chance for ranged to fully block a physical damage. Stacks for 5 times. Buff is removed when you change targets and if you stop attacking your target for 8 seconds.

Recipe:

= 550
= 1600
= 500

(Turns Into)

= 2650

i dont like item suggestions in which effects of components dissappear in general.
thats why guinsoo and manta recipes were changed btw

poor mans shield has a 2 block clauses. 100% to block 20 damage from melee heros and 10 from ranged + 60% chance to block 20 non hero melee damage and 10 non hero ranged damage.

By using poor mans shield you lose the 100% chance to reduce hero damage.

Usually combining items gives better stats than the original item. [eg: Stout -> Vanguard] As others have pointed out, by using 2x Poor Man's Shield, you're indirectly nerfing them.

And the item buildup doesn't match the theme IMO. How lava protects is confusing.

I was pointing out on the Sauron's Axe = Sauron's Eye lookalike.

Since Sauron's eye was protecting i don't know what, this one protects the wielder

LotR isnt DotA, as Anime isnt DotA, as Other things aren' DotA as...

Also, Sauren was like wolololo epic splash dmg pwnage. And he used a mace

Conceptually though, not bad. Mixing Damage with Damage Block. I might actually use this in DotA as an item since i'm fond of the Poor Man's.

Change the theme, please

Why are there 2 PMS's? I suggest 1 instead.

Parry seems ok, but as soon as the unit target dies, it resets again, haha.

Overall, i like the item, its seems reasonable to get for tank heroes.

Why 2? For the price balance of course. And also, no one actually buys 2 poor man shields(or i haven't seen anyone do it yet).

I'll just make it that if you don't attack your former target for 8 seconds the buff is removed.

I like the item, but I have a feeling that it should be much stronger. I mean, now, its just a regular upgrade.

Give it some stronger effects, IMO.

Well it's strong for DPS heroes. 40% chance to fully block a physical damage is good, no?

i think an axe is not a suitable to be used as one of the defensive item......XD i think you might wanna reconsider to find a suitable armor icon for this suggestion....
