Default [Hero] Silencer

CotS

Afflicts enemies with the Curse of the Silent. The target will lose hp and mana per second until it casts a spell.

Level 4 - 50 hp/25 mana per second. 8 sec duration.

- This skill is a sort of anti-synergy with silencer. He should stop/prevent enemy to cast spell, not force them to cast a spell. Who don't want to cast a spell?
- Silencer is a pick to stop combo, but CotS is only effective against those non-combo hero with low mana pool.



NEW
Sanctuary

Create a Sanctuary, opponents who caught inside will be silence and lose mana over time. Damage the enemies if they leave the sanctuary.

Level 4 - 4% of max mp per sec; 280 Damage upon leaving.
Manacost : 150
AOE : 300
Duration : 8
CD : 14

- Finally Silencer has an active spammable silence skill.



NEW
Glaives of Wisdom

Nortrom's Glaives are enchanted by his experience in magic. Dealing extra damage based on his Intelligence. Target will get a debuff for 2 sec. If the target cast a spell under the debuff, silence nearby units in 300 AOE.

Level 4 - Deals 60% of your intelligence in bonus damage. Silence for 2 sec if cast a spell.

- You attacking a target with GoW. If he cast a spell, his ally around him will be silence.
- This is to prevent chain disable, still you have to attack the target in first place.
- Note the AOE, it's only 300 which means ally will be silence if he is right beside the target.



Global Silence

Stops all enemies on the map from casting spells.

Silence for 3/4/5 sec -> 4/4.5/5 sec all level.
Manacost : 250/350/450 -> 150/200/250
CD : 160 -> 140/130/120 (*100 for aghanim)

- What's wrong with this skill? Why it has such a long CD and huge manacost? because it's global? What so good about global silence? Save an ally ass on the other side on the map when they got gang? They still gonna die after 3 sec.
- For initial and team clash. Drow and Death prophet could do a better job in it, with freaking lower cooldown, longer duration, and lower manacost .

I like ultimate aghanims effect.Also glaives have nice and interesting concept, also has sime synergy with Cots, you can afflict them then hit one of them, and the other one is going to suffer, but how long 2 secs?

Global silence buff is good, he needs something to make it useful.

CotS on the other hand is perfect since its remake, it doesn't need any kind of buff, and you hurt it's mana draining ability.

It's so he can silence any lineup. If it's combo-heavy, you have Last Word to stop it, and if it's a low-mana opponent, he can "silence" them with Curse by simply making it impossible to cast anything.

The glaives change is meh, they've worked fine since Last Word got the int-stealing instead of the glaives themselves.

The GoW buff is simply too strong
The Cots buff is simply too strong
The Global Silence buff is simply too strong

And generally speaking, Silencer is picked to give someone hell during the laning as well as throw off combos with Last Word which I notice you haven't touched.

CotS remake is a step in the right direction. I think the focus should be the mana drain part rather than the damage/slow. Make the damage lower but make the mana drain based on percentage. I think making CotS good all game would do Silencer a lot of good.

Glaive remake makes Last Word pointless. The addition does the same effect.

The ultimate remake is probably too strong but I think it needs a cooldown buff. Perhaps 60 sec at level 3 and the Aghanim's effect reduces cooldown at all levels by 30 seconds.

CotS mana drain base on % is a good idea.

GoW doesn't make last word pointless. Last Word is there to stop combo from each single hero, but GoW is to stop chain disable from gank. And it require you need to attack the target him to get the debuff on it.
