Default [Buff-FX] Clinkz' Strafe


Hi guys,

today I started a small project in the German community forums of dotasource.de. The aim is to search for bad or missing effects and discuss about solutions, eventually creating models.
One of the first missing effects one of the forumers found was Strafe.
No FX, and that for ages?
Pro]phet had the idea to make his bow shine a bit, so I started creating an effect.
After some time I came to this effect:



You can see it much better in the testmap provided, which also contains other effects. I will create threads for each suggestion, but I'll try to keep the testmaps in each thread the newest version.

I'm glad for any constructive criticism and positive feedback :-)

I can, but the image would still be there at the same time. Otherwise it would have gameplay influences. So I'll keep the birth animation time at 250ms, or maybe increase it slightly to 333ms.

It doesn't? I disagree, it does it quite well imo.
I used the very same bow, after all.
It just won't bend like the original one, but that's impossible to do, anyway... and I think it's even better that way as the whole combination looks more "magically in motion".
