Default [Cast-FX] Terrorblade's Conjure Image


Hi guys,

this is the second suggestion originating in my dotasource.de FX thread.


(sorry for the filesize)

The basic idea of a projectile for Terrorblade's Conjure Image came from VairuZ - thanks!
Based on that, I elaborated the idea of a raw, green outlining of the image being shot out of TB's hands.

this also implies gameplay-affecting code - the summoned illusion will be placed in front of Terrorblade.

The testmap also contains other effects. I will create threads for each suggestion, but I'll try to keep the testmaps in each thread the newest version.

I'm glad for any constructive criticism and positive feedback :-)

Can you slow down the animation of SK creating an image?

Doubleanswer ^^

I can, but the image would still be there at the same time. Otherwise it would have gameplay influences. So I'll keep the birth animation time at 250ms, or maybe increase it slightly to 333ms.[

Yes. I saw this thread seconds later.

On topic: How it would affect gameplay? Can you explain this to me? (I'm lacking of imagination here... seriously. )

The image is moved a bit on cast, so the position changes. No really great effect, but still there is one.

Oh, that's nice. I have seen this in slow motion by the WC3 replay viewer and the animation looks just like him. Well, I guess that's the point. but I mean that you have done a great job creating this.

he made the effects for skewer and the void aghanim's effect aswell, also he made the haste fx for the haste rune *cough cough*

I like the idea, but the effect is slightly to fast and the color should be more green.
