The correct file path and map file is:

Warcraft III\Maps\Download\DotA Allstars v6.64.w3x

Notice the "Download" folder without the final S.

Lets try something: Copy the "Warcraft III\Maps\Download\" text, and paste it on the address bar on the top, so that it gets you to that folder in your computer.

I opened the replay without any troubles.

The replay is in: Warcraft III\Maps\Download\DotA Allstars v6.64.w3x

BUT, the replay is 1.24b since no hereos were chosen. Just a small tip.

Nothing wrong with the directory. Actually i'm having this problem only with replays in map v6.64. I get the map from getdota.com. is it possible if the problem is on my warcraft version? the version of warcraft that i use to try this replay is 1.24b / 1.24.0.6366. but,if i try using 1.24c,i can open the replay,but no hero there.

1.24.0.6366 = 1.24a
1.24.1.6374 = 1.24b
1.24.2.6378 = 1.24c

That replay was played on 1.24b.

Hi there,
Ive got a problem with watching replays. When i load them, the heroes just wont move and creeps are fighting on their own (which is somehow fun to watch too o.0). I read this could be a problem due to the wrong patch, but ive got 1.24c for sure. And i remember watching replays with this patch, without any problems.
Help would be awesome

Let me remind you:

1.24b replays can NOT be seen on 1.24c

1.24c replays can NOT be seen on 1.24b

What's the number shown on the bottom right corner of the W3 main menu?


Lets try something, download these 2 replays, and tell me which one works (just check if the heroes start moving after the picking process):

Stupid me.. i found the mistake.
I loaded a replay, which was said to b 1.24c, but it wasnt... Thx for the fast help guys

I dont really watch replays much, but when i start it up, there is no heros or game mode or anything, its just creeps walking and fighting for the entire game with random pings everywhere. maybe im retarded but WTF?

I have the correct map and the same patch and i still can not watch any DotA replays that i download, any DotA games that are found from Garena TV and my replays and also warcraft 3 replays can still work. What's the problem?

What is the error that Warcraft gives you? Post screenshot please. Also, upload one of those non-working replays here.

As for replays I can't watch any of them I download,
here is a sample:
ddt_vs_nvint_3 then just download it, well the weird part is that other people can watch this replay while I can't watch it.

The replay you linked uses the 6.66b map, located on the folder "Download". Can you show us a picture of what's inside your "Download" folder?
