(Taken from WoWWiki's icon list)

Forged from the remains of a powerful sword's pedestal. It was said that the pedestal itself contains enormous amounts of magic. Gives +100 damage and Murgleis' Blessing(Active)


Murgleis' Blessing:

Turns your attack into magic damage while this skill is activated. Drains 15 to the hero per second and drains 15 more mana when attacking units.

(need help on numbers)

Activation has a 10 seconds cooldown.

You get some animation(maybe an animation in your head, weapon or body) when you activate the item's skill. If anyone can suggest a great and fitting animation then that would be a great help.

You get this Buff when you activate the skill.



Recipe:

= 2400
= 1600
= 1500

(Auto Combines Into)

= 5500

This would buff Ghost Scepter and increase cloaks/hood popularity a lot

only by using metamorphosis, where you actually transform into the same unit but with magic type attack

It is codeable ...
When you attack, make an enemy dummy unit and let you attack that one.
Make a dummy unit of yours to deal the magic damage to enemy.

hmmm i dont really know what to think of this.. i like it, but at the same time think its silly .. i mean it would completely change the game of dota ( in a sense )

First you should know what a "dummy unit" is. A lot of spells work by using dummy units
A test map is too redundant, use DotA!

It's an invulnerable, completely invisible (most cases), untargetable (depends) unit with no shape (depends). The only reason for it to exist is to do the spell

either what kanzakill said or just change the attack of the hero from physical to magic. which is possible. i've seen it in an RPG map called "master crafters final conquest"

I'm not sure if this is really viable. It sounds good, it works good for the game region you mean it for [lategame], BUT the problem would be simple: Will you be sure that magic resistance < armour by then?

If it is, then you have my support for this concept.

Of course. Normally, people only buy hood, since that's the only item that gives "decent" magic resistance.

So the only thing that will lessen this item's effectiveness is the natural 20% magic resistance of heroes lategame.

and seriously, who buys magic resistance for lategame? they actually just discards HoD and buy tank or damage items. Magic resistance is actually neglected by alot lategame.

Don't listen to the idiots. Almost everything is codeable. All you have to do is negate the damage caused by the unit and then re-deliver it as magic damage. Done by triggers, of course.

@Kuratz
Many spells in Dota are dummy based.

The only problem I see with this one is that when units are ethereal, you still won't be able to attack them (because it's hardcoded that way), so it's still useless in that sense.
