Default [ANIMATION] Slardar's Bash


Hm ...
So, Time Lock was given a badass animation not too long ago.
The only skills with Bash animations left belong to Kardel, Slardar and Jah'rakal.

Well, Kardel will have to wait.
Since Jah'rakal bashes using his relatively small axes, I think the current animation is good enough for him.

But Slardar bashes using ... er ... his harpoon spear? Whatever it is, it's damn big and moreover:

See those muscles? IMO with them and his weapon, Slardar should do much more than some subtle blue whirls He should whirl the victim!
So:

Proposal
Spins target counterclockwise during the stun duration
When Slardar bashes a unit the first time, it spins 360/10=36 degree per 0.1 second.
If another Bash procs during the spin:
+ If unit has spun less than 180 degree, it will spin [360-(degree spun)]/10 degree per second.
+ If unit has spun 180 degree or more, it will spin [720-(degree spun)]/10 degree per second.


Short suggestion I know. But right now there's no way for me to get screenies This post is more of a placeholder. If you're interested, please reply once so I can bump it when the time comes.

shud add like a little kunkka splash thingy on the spinning target: would make a cool water trail. the more water creature theme :>

T-down. The stun length isn't always the same (target can be bashed again while already being bashed) and what happens than? Target suddenly looks somewhere else while fight? Thats a gamplay effect, and a buff for Slardar, which is already powerful enough.
This skill doesn't need more of a 'badass animation', current animation fits perfectly to what the spell does and to Slardar's simple graphical concept. I also think this would look pretty dumb (I spin my head right round, right round...?). No support.

Huh, I though this was too clear

It will be coded like Bara's Greater Bash, which means it spins the target every 0.1 seconds, not every 1 second.

I don't deem this a pure visual change anymore, as it changes the skill. Force Staff is affected.

No comment on first part... I think I know enough about triggers that I already get in your first post what you want, I'm not that stupid. To second part: Seems like you don't get it. 1 second bash = 360°. But what happens if: Bash, after 0.5 seconds another Bash = 1.5 seconds Bash = 540° = Target shows back to Slardar. Plus like someone else mentioned problem with Force Staff.
