Xokar, The Drow Trickster

Xokar was assigned a mission to assasinate Traxex after her departure from the Underdark. Since Traxex was already under the protection of Sentinel forces, Xokar saw no other option but to join Scourge in order to accomplish his mission.

HERO INFORMATION

Strength - 14 + 1.9 Gained Per Level
Agility - 22 + 2.8 Gained Per Level
Intelligence - 16 + 1.8 Gained Per Level

Learns Trick&Strike, Wonderblade, Vanish, Art of Trickery

Attack range: 100
Movement speed: 320

Starting Hitpoints: 416
Starting Mana: 224
Starting Damage: 45-52
Starting Armor: 3.6

HERO ABILITIES

Trick & Strike

Basic skill for a trickster. He disappears, leaving an illusion behind, only to appear behind the enemy a second later, stabbing and stunning him.

Level 1 - Stuns for 0.5 seconds, deals 40 bonus damage
Level 2 - Stuns for 0.75 seconds, deals 80 bonus damage
Level 3 - Stuns for 1 seconds, deals 120 bonus damage
Level 4 - Stuns for 1.5 seconds, deals 160 bonus damage

Mana cost: 60/65/70/75
Cooldown: 18/16/14/12
Cast Range: 250

Illusion works as in doppelwalk, but deals 0% damage and receives 100% damage, lasts for 1 second. Trickster appears behind the enemy just like barathrum's ulti, 1 second after casting.

Wonderblade

Xokar throws a special drow designed weapon with different effect depending on the target

Level 1
Target:
All targets - Deals 30 pure damage
STR Hero - Steals Mana equal to targets intelligence x1
AGI Hero - Hexes target for 0.6 seconds
INT Hero - Silences target for 1 seconds
Level 2
Target:
All targets - Deals 40 pure damage
STR Hero - Steals Mana equal to targets intelligence x1.4
AGI Hero - Hexes target for 0.8 seconds
INT Hero - Silences target for 1.3 seconds
Level 3
Target:
All targets - Deals 50 pure damage
STR Hero - Steals Mana equal to targets intelligence x1.8
AGI Hero - Hexes target for 1 seconds
INT Hero - Silences target for 1.6 seconds
Level 4
Target:
All targets - Deals 60 pure damage
STR Hero - Steals Mana equal to targets intelligence x2.2
AGI Hero - Hexes target for 1.2 seconds
INT Hero - Silences target for 2 seconds
Range: 700
Cooldown: 15/13/11/9
Mana cost: 40

The effect is applied when hit with the projectile, travel speed 1400.

Vanish

The trickster can use a blinding flash powder to vanish in front of his enemies eyes.

Level 1 - Gains +50% movement speed and invisibility for 1 second. Enemies miss 10% for 3 seconds.
Level 2 - Gains +50% movement speed and invisibility for 2 second. Enemies miss 17% for 3 seconds.
Level 3 - Gains +50% movement speed and invisibility for 3 second. Enemies miss 24% for 3 seconds.
Level 4 - Gains +50% movement speed and invisibility for 4 second. Enemies miss 31% for 3 seconds.

Cooldown: 8
Mana cost: 40/50/60/70
AoE: 350

Art of Trickery

Xokar is the master of tricks and his ultimate skill is to hide his allies and create a distraction.

Passive ability is disabled for 15 seconds when the active is used.

Passive ability:
Level 1 - Allies within 300 range of the Trickster are invisible.
Level 2 - Allies within 400 range of the Trickster are invisible.
Level 3 - Allies within 500 range of the Trickster are invisible.

Fade time
: 8 seconds
Duration: 1.5 seconds

Active Ability:
Level 1 - The trickster creates an illusion for every ally in the range of the skill.
Level 2 - The trickster creates an illusion for every ally in the range of the skill.
Level 3 - The trickster creates an illusion for every ally in the range of the skill.

Cooldown: 120/100/80
Mana Cost: 100

Illusions:
300% damage taken
20% damage dealt
Lasts 15 seconds.

wow nice work
the hero icon is a bit unclear but the model rocks(although it uses the same concept as magina and terrorblade)
1st skill: tricky and useful
2nd skill: maybe u can clear that steals mana equal to target's int x1(just steals mana equal to target's int) get it?.
3rd skill:when does the 31% miss apply? he becomes invisible and has miss?
Ulti: decrease CD to 15 increase mana cost to a constant of 50
overall: not a bad hero but maybe you can find a better model(not that the current one is bad but is already used)

Icon suggestions as well as model suggestions are welcome, that model was the best i could find to fit the hero.

2nd skill: int x1 is mentioned only because the amount increases per level.
3rd skill: the 31% miss applies when the hero uses this skill, an effect from his flashy dissappearance.
ulti: with cooldown of 15 seconds this skill could be used too often. I wish for it to have long enough cooldown that players have to think carefully when to use it, not just spam at every possible situation.

i think the concept is freaking amazing . i fell in love with the hero the moment i read through the thing .. its a very brilliant concept and i think the icons are good , the model should change maybe a little . very well done mate

Wow, cool concept, i'd very much like to see this hero get implemented. Great work.
EDIT: Maybe give the ultimate hotkeys for refreshing a skill at a time instead of refreshing everything. I'm in love with this hero.

The ultimate refreshes all skills simply because all skills share cooldown.

I love it. Sneaky heroes are always fun to play.

Trick & Strike;

I like it, no changes needed here.

Wonderblade;

The hex time should be increased. It would be better to cast Trick & Strike instead (unless the target is fleeing with 1-60 hp) since it stuns for 1.5 seconds.

Vanish;

Numbers may need a nerf (It's better then Murloc's active ultimate)

Art of Trickery;

Doesn't look like this needs a change either.

I like it very much! I'll give the concept 9/10!

Wonderblade: this has range of 700, T&T is only 250, I think increasing the hex duration could make it OP.

Vanish: It is not better than Murloc's active ultimate, you cant attack without breaking the invisibility, it lasts 4 seconds at max and this hero doesn't have a skill to remove dust effect like murloc does.

Everything seems to flow except one thing.. The ultimate stuck out to me.. only 50 mana?? Tinkers is at least a lot more but with no cooldown. Increase the mana requirements for ultimate at 150 for all levels. T-Null for now.

This hero has very different skills compared to tinker, and definately his mana pool is in a different league. Also this skill DOES NOT REFRESH ITEMS. With ultimate level 1 you only save 9 seconds of cooldown time, in my opinion 50 mana cost is enough.

Thanks, It has been noted that the model is not very good, yet it is the only one i could find to fit this hero. If a better one can't be found I have to change the background story.

Whoa, I must say that all of the skills are pretty cool in their own ways. The fact that the first skills share a cooldown really do create a different kind of experience to keep in mind. Good job.

I had to open up with this: hey, shayayalee, are you a David Sedaris fan? ahem, back to topic. Well, I now give my review since the OP asked me to, so here it is. At first glance, the name seems pretty uncatchy, the models seems fairly unwarcraftish, the story seems farfetched (suddenly it was Traxex that was the target, no longer the Lich King or the gods of the Night Elves, whichever side your on) but the mechanics have left me quite curious. So now, I give my full review.

1st Skill:
  • A very unoriginal blend between Azwraith's Doppelwalk and Barathrum's Netherstrike. The tactical advantage that can be acquired through the blend, however, is commendable. I guess this is fine. Kinda like a fashionable Blink Strike, eh? I like it.
  • Sharing cooldowns? What's the deal with that? So you mean to say once this skill gets casted, the other 2 skills will also be in cooldown? Isn't that a hassle?

2nd Skill:
  • Now this skill is something that's got to be a real great one. An attribute-based disable? Who would have thought of that? Very impressive.
  • The only problem I have with this is the pure damage aspect. Why add it? It seems kind of like some consolation prize for a disable, which I guess could be ok... and the sharing of cooldowns... really a bummer... I wish I could know the reason why.

3rd Skill:
  • Kinda like Sand King's Sand Storm, only much, much weaker... very unoriginal... mediocre...
  • And again with the sharing cooldown... the shared cooldown makes this skill so weak, I would wish this skill hadn't been here.

Ultimate: Now this one is just plain sick. Is this a trick?? Sigh. The Ultimate's synergy with the other three skills is just painful, as if the OP could not think of any ideas for an ultimate. In a real setting, this kinda works, but to some, like me, it looks like pretty much a substandard copy of Tinker's Rearm...

Overall: I can see the concept but it's just not working, dude. The skill icons are really nice. The first skill had me hyped up. The second skill got me excited. But then, that was it. The third skill was lame, the Ultimate was a forced synergy skill, and the shared cooldown is pretty much like a promise with all the skills that is about to be broken. This hero has great potential, but at the moment, it appears weak, half-made and substandard. With some number-tweaking, a new skill or two (preferably a new ultimate), this hero could be very much be the next popular carry hero. But now... I can only shake my head in disappointment. My rating for this hero: 5.5/10

I have to give this hero a very disappointing T-null. Sorry, just an opinion.
