Default [ANIMATION] Epicenter - Pretty pulses!

Infrisios helped Icefrog make an edit to my effect (before its implementation in 6.72). It was him that made this effect possible, so a big thanks to him!

Epicenter is one of the most devastating ultimates in DotA without a proper animation. Not only is there no animation to represent his pulses, the ground doesn't even ripple properly (if you look closely, it ripples once every 3 pulses).

The Suggestion

With my recently acquired modelling skillz, I have created a simple model to represent the Sand King's Epicenter's pulses. It is 2 kb, consisted of 6 tris (this means it takes up very, very, very little processing power, so fret not for performance issues), and has a subtle hardcoded sound effect representative of the pulses of Epicenter. You can find the model here.

Not sufficiently portrayed: The awesomeness of the pulses.

Needless to say, I'm suggesting to have the effect play every time the Sand King releases a pulse.

Misc.

For some reason, after the optimisation of the spell, Epicenter only produces 1 ground ripple in about every 3 to 4 pulses. I don't know if this was intended to reduce performance issues or an oversight on IceFrog's part. If it is an oversight, I suggest that the ripples be brought back for every pulse of Epicenter.

If you think the pulses are pretty, take a look at the test map here. It looks way better in action, especially with the consistent rippling of the ground.

Video for Lazy People.

Lazy people, you are in luck. FlaM3 has kindly created a video of the skill in action from my testmap for you to feast your eyes on without getting the testmap.

Many thanks to him

If you have any ideas for the coloring of the pulses, do drop your comments.

This suggestion is significantly different from the suggested one before. The animation has a longer fade-out time, so you can see multiple pulses on the ground, instead of just one pulse like the old suggestion. The color is also different.

You can take a look at the old topic here.

It really looks pretty and i think the pulse should be white, IMO.
So T-up anyways.

Off-topic: @Terresquall; I tried using Enigma, on your map, and Demonic Conversion can target allied heroes and buildings.

Great suggestion.Epicenter definitely needs some visual overhaul.

But what I felt was that the visuals of the pulses somewhat is too fast.
Maybe slow it just a bit.Not much though.

If not maybe make it give out the animation once per 2 pulses.
As of now its too vigorous.

Here is a video I made for your suggestion. For all those who don't want to download the map:

Very nice suggestion, your pulses fit the skill. Although I think that Tauren Chieftain's Stomp Animation is better, more detailed and has more colors. It's also already ingame. This looks nearly the same, and the sound of yours kinda sucks.

Huge T-up, as always. This is really, really worthy of implementation. (and to those saying that it's too noticeable, since when has anyone NOT noticed a Sandking blinking in with the ground shaking around him?)

I like it, so T-Up, but if you could combine this with the old animation I think that would be cool, but maybe it would be too much, IDK.

Hypnotizing (: Anyway, t-up, the effect is definitely better than the current one and good as an absolute.

hmm..
can you replace the sound. IMO the sound is too stomp-like and is really annoying when it is played continuously.

I've changed the sound effect to a more subtle one. Tell me what you think.
