T-Up, i can actually imagine myself buying Midas now! Maybe increase the chance to 35%? Or every 3 creeps bounty is increased?

Proc chance should be increased IMO. But balance it carefully, please.

Hmm. 25% chance? For any hero who doesn't farm well, this item won't make a huge difference. But it's a start, since poor HoM has been left out in the cold for so long.

Very nice idea. This may actually bring the Hand of Midas back from the dead. Hope this get's implemented big time.
Thumbs up.

Now, I myself am a very big fan of HoM since it is very versatile, very straight-forward and easy to use. Of course, being a fan of it also spells disappointment since it loses its usability as you progress from mid-game to late-game as you need more slots. I do hope this item will make be believe that HoM is a much more versatile item thatn what I think it is. I now give my formal review:
Item Recipe: Very nice. Simple, easy to remember. I like it. But I suddenly had an epiphany with this. What if you use a Crystalys instead of a mere Broadsword? Crystalys's use is confined only to the BDK formation and I'm pretty sure adding Crystalys to you recipe will not only boost HoM usability, but that of the Crystalys as well. Anyway, just a suggestion, but I think the broadsword can do it just fine. ^_^ Item Skills: Attribute bonuses are balanced, straight-forward and head on. I'm not quite sure with the proc chance though. 25% seemed so low. and the bounty reward is a bit too low for my taste. Can I suggest you increase the chance to 30% and the bounty to a full 2x instead of just 1.5x? (Just in case you use the Crystalys, then simply increase the attack damage bonus and simply add a Critical Strike attribute. Again, just an opinion. Your item is already fine as it is.) Item Icon: The icon fits perfectly. You have to love the color gold. ^_^ Overall: Short, simple, basic. I like it. I give this item a rating of 9/10. ![]() This one needs a straight T-Up! P.S. I advertise items that I think are really cool, so I hope you won't mind me adding this item to my sig. If you don't want the free advertisement, then give me a PM and I'll delete the link in my sig at the quickest possible time! ^_^

Make the damage bonus lower (+20 damage maybe) and retain the Transmute ability since this item has no active ability.

Thank you everybody for the support!
I made the ability somewhat weak because some heroes can farm really fast and I have to be careful on what I do with this because farming might just be TOO easy. @Fuhrer: Forgot to quote sorry! >< Anyway, the idea of using crystalys is kinda meh. Seems good on paper but giving critical strike to this might make it a bit overpowered for its price. But I can't increase the price much because it has to be obtainable somewhat quickly. Quote:
EDIT: Increased proc chance by 10% |

T-UP, it's a really good idea. I'm somewhat sad that you loose the ability to instakill chen's centaur. Maybe the ability could be kept if other stats were lower, the passive now gives an average of +17,5% bounty which is a lot.

17.5% is a lot. However, Midas gave on average 100-150 extra gold per 2 minutes. That's about the same bonus as my item if you farm about 900 gold in 2 minutes (which is not THAT difficult as the game goes on). So it really isn't as strong as you are thinking. |

I have already mentioned why I removed the active ability and replace it with a passive. An active ability is more restrictive and removes some of the efficiency.

I agree, Midas can kill necronomicon units etc. Nerf the passive just a little bit and keep the active ability on this.

dude I Iknow this isn't always in your pool of thinking but I just thought it would be cool if there was a sword that required a gauntlet to wield

Costs 4000 gold, you get it in max 15 min.
Imagine:
After that, you can start reworking your thread with more details about numbers and reasons for actually bothering us... |
