There is no 100% on hit slow item for mid price range, there is no item with damage per second ability and no item with switchable passive. Crystalys has crit ability and it's logical to add it to this item, at best it's a very unreliable ability, worse than buriza's in all aspects. Also Crystalys is only used in one recipe.

The item certainly has a great concept but numbers need some fixing (like crit strike) also the burn ability in my mind is overpowered since you hit someone 90 dmg total over 3 seconds and as you keep hitting him the timer keeps restarting. After 10 seconds you've done an extra 300 dmg, which is a lot in some situations.

how about sange+crystalys? Would fit the orb thing and would be a nice addition for sange, who needs it badly.
3.5x critical AND +60 damage, for that ammount of gold, is utterly imbalanced. Think of Buriza's +53 dmg and 2.4x critical that is more expensive. Rather keep the 1.5x crit, but give a better proc chance. |

Very good concept in terms of switch-able fire/ice
but single target burn and crit both add damage which is kinda boring and slowing a single target is also not that interesting. I think its more interesting if you implement it like Admiral's tide bringer so that every x seconds it does a aoe burning/freezing slash that burns/slows all enemies in an area, and on that big slash there's chance to also aoe crit |

personally i'd rather go with mechanics that are quite rare, like 100% guaranteed special attack every x seconds of admiral/bounty-hunter, instead of overloaded concepts like slow and % chance crit. there are too many heroes/items that has it already
