Default [Effect] Nevermore's Death


This suggestion has an included video and testmap of a POSSIBLE application of this idea. Please vote based on the idea, and not the outcome as it can be changed to better suite the game.

Background
I was playing Nevermore and noticed that one of his skills made no sense.

Whenever the Shadow Fiend kills a target, he stores the unfortunate soul inside of him. For each stored soul he gains 2 bonus damage until his own death releases half of them from bondage.
I have never seen any souls released from bondage after he dies, so I thought of making a suggestion for it.

Suggestion


When Nevermore dies, all of the souls he lost are released from his body like the tooltip states. I chose the Shade model because it is now unused, and it looks like a soul that would belong to Nevermore.

I've included a video, and a test map to try a 'demo' version of this suggestion. I say demo because I think the souls being released could look better cosmetically, and I'd prefer you rate it based on the idea rather then my somewhat poor execution .

The effect can and probably would be changed if this were implemented into DotA. This is just a single scenario on how it could work.

Nice cosmetic, but I think it would cause some performance issues.The animation at 0 souls is enough and would symbolise the soul loss perfectly.

Too plain. We have ENOUGH nova spells already. Shiva's, Plasma Field. But anyways, the souls exploding at the same time and distance look really blerh. Maybe something like the souls going outwards with height as well.

i like the idea, but i think it might messed up in teamfights... i mean when some1 killed sff 1st and others still fighting, i will cauz blindness to ally/enemy...

also in ur test map, i got full 60 dmg, and went to suicide, but the thing is when i revive it says that i have only 28dmg...wtf is this?

Amazing idea.. But the thing is, it's too elaborate for a death animation.. How about shades floating above his death spot, just like Atropos' death but instead of one soul make it a couple? T-null, there'll be issues with this.

I think a small area where nevermore died with succession of Lich's death animation(the extending face thingy) Would be cool.

Too long AoE and it looks quite similar to his ulti IMO... Make the AoE smaller or make the souls rotate you
