Default [STR-NEUT] Karim, Orc Berserker


This is an idea I had that is a mix of Huskar (getting hurt helps) and, in a way, Mortred (crits).
(CREDITS TO supertoinkz)

Orc Berserker
Vorgash

Background Story: Son of a vicious warlord, Vorgash has fury and war in his blood. His childhood was spent fighting and killing, often joining his father on the battleground. No enemies of Vorgash live long.

Strength - 21 + [3]
Agility - 18 + [1.9]
Intelligence - 16 + [1.1]



Affiliation:Neutral
Damage:39-47
Armor:2.3
Movespeed:290
Starting HP/MP:543/179
Attack Range:118
Frenzy - (Self buff)
____________________Increases attack and movement speed for a short amount of time, but takes 5% extra damage.

The Berserker loves seeing blood. He can damage himself in order to increase his will to fight.

Heartstrike - (Target, Damage)
____________________The Berserker slashes at an enemies heart causing damage over time. If the target has less than 30% HP it is slowed by 50% for 2 seconds and has frozen hp regen.

  • Damage dealt is physical.
Berserker Strikes - (Self Buff)
____________________The Berserker swings his axes to strike with huge power, having a chance to do a critical attack for X2.5 and cause the target to be ministunned for 0.1 seconds. Ministun has a 1.5 sec cooldown. For every 10% of hp missing from the Berserker the crit chance is increased by 5%.

Notes:
  • Physical damage.
Skills are meant to work well when used together (e.g. Frenzy with ulty and Blood ritual. Target will be maimed so Berserker can attack with huge speed and damage.)
This hero is meant to be a DPS strength, but with not very high stat gain.

Possible items for him are HoT (for strength and regen), Satanic (strength and lifesteal for his huge damage output) Phase boots (for damage and speed) or Power Treads (strength, IAS and a bit of speed). Also Armlet would work amazingly well with this hero.

Here is wat I think about this hero
1. A fine skill, however, the maim makes it a bit overpowered.
2. Nothing wrong, the percentage balances out the imba increase on atk
3. A good slow, not imba at all.
4. Kinda weak in my opinion.
8.5/10 hero. Keep the good work up.

Thanks for the feedback, but I dont really want to remove the maim (its too similar to other skills without it). I will just lower its power for now.

remove maim from first skill
make ulti something like :
passively 5 / 10 / 15 % chance to 2x crit and maim 20% slow for 3 sec
and another 5 % chance for every 10 % missing hp
i think it would suit him better..

Its based on the Rexxar model and Rexxar is half orc anyway

1st skill- Not very unique and CD is too long for a 5s duration.

2nd skill- I like the idea.

3rd skill- Its unique in some way. damage is too low though at lvl4 you can only deal 250 damage to 1 unit. it would be hard to get the enemy's HP to 15% with this damage, and seeing the cost of the 2nd skill it would be fatal to use its full force just to get the slow.

4th skill- Finally a synergy, its incredibly powerful though, a skilled player can do terrible damage with this and the 2nd skill alone.

all in all i think you need a bit more synergy. I don't really know for now which of the skills I favor but i think you need to change at least 1 to increase synergy with the other skills.

Yup.
Frenzy ~ is just a kind of sprint. It is weak a bit.
Blood Ritual ~ Is it +30 per stack? Does each stack have its own duration? Because lvl 7 +240 dmg, refreshing once for 35 seconds is just rape.
Hmm, level 1 +75 dmg, refreshing once for 20 seconds (in cost of [0.05*543] about 27 hp) is even more devastating.
Heartstrike ~ this skill is nice. Not to powerful, but a nice concept.
Ultimate ~ is boring but acceptable. Critical Rate is such low (no one would like to enter battle with low hp). It is useful only with lifesteal to heal self fast.

Overall: Two weak skills, one medicore and one omgwtf game-breaking.

Some item builds:
Phase Boots+Armor Cuirass+HotD->Satanic + Clarity Potions
Phase Boots+Desolator+Vlads

Define synergy. For me its like this:
Frenzy gives attack speed + Blood Ritual gives damage + ulty gives crit = synergy?

Yes no one will enter combat with low hp, but most people will exit with low hp. E.g. The teams clash. Not much crits. Some damage is taken. More crits. You get the picture. The only way to get rid of Karim is to fight him. This means they will feed the ulty
