Default [REMAKE]Silencer - Last Update May 14


Why the change ? In this remake... I tried to balance his skills and his weaknesses... Cause he has a global ultimate that is good... But not worth the mana cost and the cooldown.

INTRODUCTION



Summon (Nortrom)

Hailing from the magical community of Quel'Thalas, Nortrom is one of the strongest Elven warriors defending the integrity of the lands. Mastering the ancient art of glaive-throwing, and combining it with the volatile nature of the Blood Elves' arcane magic, he is able to disrupt the magical energies in his enemies. By binding his magical powers to his glaive, he is able to cause damage beyond devastation, gaining intelligence from every kill. Concentrating all his energies, he can cause chaos within his enemies' magical pools, making them unable to cast spells. He is determined to fend off the Scourge and their demon magic until he has breathed his last.

Strength -20 + 1.8
Agility - 15 + 2
Intelligence - 20 + 2.5 (Main Attribute)

Learns Curse of the Silent, Glaive of the Wise, Last Word and Arcane Silence

Attack range of 600
Movement speed of 300

HERO ABILITIES



Curse of the Silent

Nortrom blasts an area with pure arcane magic, that penetrates more and more in the enemies magic energies. Burning then and making they energies useless.

Level 1 - Burns mana equal 10% of the target intelligence each second + 10 each second. When the spell ends deals the same in damage to the target. The spell used to end the curse gain a addition of 2.5% in mana cost.
Level 2 - Burns mana equal 10% of the target intelligence each second + 15 each second. When the spell ends deals the same in damage to the target. The spell used to end the curse gain a addition of 5% in mana cost.
Level 3 - Burns mana equal 10% of the target intelligence each second + 20 each second. When the spell ends deals the same in damage to the target. The spell used to end the curse gain a addition of 7.5% in mana cost.
Level 4 - Burns mana equal 10% of the target intelligence each second + 25 each second. When the spell ends deals the same in damage to the target. The spell used to end the curse gain a addition of 10% in mana cost.

Now, late game it has more utility... The max damage is 500/500. It seems overpower, but it depends on the target hero, so in a Pugna may hurt, but in a Leoric, it does nothing. It damages the hero after the end.

Duration is 5/6/7/8
Casting Range is 600
Casting Time is 0


Cooldown: 15s
Mana Cost: 95/110/135/150

Glaive of the Wise

In a duel of intelligence, Nortrom damages enemies minds due the effort to keep fighting againt the Silencer. If the enemy is wiser then Nortrom, in a defence manouver, the enemy will lose the ability to speak. If they have less, it deals more damage.

Level 1 -Deals 100% of difference in intelligence, if unit has greater intelligence, also silences for 1 second. If lesser: 120%. Passively gives + 4 int.
Level 2 - Deals 110% of difference in intelligence, if unit has greater intelligence, also silences for 1 second.If lesser: 140%. Passively gives + 6 int.
Level 3 - Deals 120% of difference in intelligence, if unit has greater intelligence, also silences for 1 second. If lesser: 160%. Passively gives + 8 int.
Level 4 - Deals 130% of difference in intelligence, if unit has greater intelligence, also silences for 1 second. If lesser: 180%. Passively gives + 10 int.




Now, killing enemies, boosts attack from glaive, cause add +2 int in the difference (+1 to from silencer gain and +1 from enemy lose) Units without intelligence counts as half of silencer intelligence.

Duration is 1/1/2/2
Casting Range is 600
Casting Time is 0


Cooldown: 3/2/1/0
Mana Cost: 10/10/10/10

Arcane Silence

Stops all enemies in the map of using any magic.

Level 1 - 3s
Level 2 - 4s
Level 3 - 5s
Level 3 Aghanins - 5s and prevents units to use mana.

Nothing change, only that itens now are muted too with aghanins. Using mana is any skill or item that use mana...

Duration is 3/4/5/5
Casting Range is Global
Casting Time is 0


Cooldown: 120/110/100/90
Mana Cost: 300/400/500/400

Needs rework on numbers, but cool ideas. Only thing that looks "unoriginal" is the Manaburn on the ult.
STFU and everyone stops using anything other than pots. ;D

1) First of all, buff ms to 300 and armor to 4,2 (people, he has armor and HUGE shield, then why 1,7 armor?)

2) CotS, does it damage enemies as well? It may work like 'Mana Break', 0,6 damage per each MP burnt.

3) GotW, rescale first part and nerf it as it is imba (like 'Arcane Orb'), second part fine. Other solutionb is keeping current GoW, but buffing them by 1,5 if target is silenced (22,5/45/67,5/90% of int)

4) LW, good that unchanged.

5) GS, remove spell regaining and item muting if without Scepter, add item muting if got Scepter.

Overall, nice remake but need some tweaking for sure.

Hmmmm....
This remake is interesting.
I mean, the new CotS can cripple INT heroes but it will do very little to other heroes.
However, the new GoW does more damage do anyone that isn't INT but it will do very little and it might silence to INT heroes.
So are you trying to make him good against everyone?

First of all! Thank u for seeing it!

CotS is ridiculous strong agains anyone that doesn't have spammable skill (vide most of str and agi heroes) so changing it, will be more useful in all games.

GoW, it will have him to be a strong semi-carrier, since against agi/str heroes, he will deal high damage and against ints... He will deal less damage, but it will cover his weaknesses.

His ultimate is too weak, so I will balance just numbers xD

Conclusion: Instead of just a situtional disabler, he will be a medium semi-carry...

I changed the numbers...

CotS - it damages at the end of the duration, read again... First it will burn mana. After it will damage.

GotW - Now, i add + int gain. And nerf the numbers, so it will be balanced all game and the + 10 int at lvl 4 its nothing.

LW - It's already good with the int steal buff.

Global Silence - Now only with aghanins it will silence itens... And have a low cooldown and manacost.

Wait wait wait, your GoW steal int per each attack? If yes, nerf it to 1/2/3/4 or remove totally. After 10 attacks enemy got -50 int, while you got +50 int. Imba, huh?

NOOO! The explanation only says that if you steal with last word. Your damage with glaives will raise by 2 ^^

I like your idea... its better than the other silencer remake ...
some number may be fixed like the int bonus in the glaives ..
something like this 4/6/8/10 or maybe lowered to 2/4/6/8.
but this sound great ^^

Great idea! Especially the CotS and Glaives (very similar to Arcane orb but thats okay). Ulti still not worth the change buff that a bit.Numbers should be tweaked.

I don't know why u guys seem it like Arcane Orb... Arcane orb deal X% of current mana. This glaive deal the difference of the intelligence.

Maybe a constant 120s ?

No, please, don't mute items... Global Doom, OMG.

I for CotS and Glaive. But not on Global. You're changing a Global Silence into a Global Doom(one-third duration).

How about Global Silence lasts half as long as normal duration on Magic Immune units. But will silence Magic Immune units the same as normal duration with Aghanim's?

Doom is a single-target disabler...

Silencer is nothing when carries take place since his ultimate does nothing...

The boost of aghanins, muting itens is a bless to him and he deserves it!

Items, not itens ^^'
Ultimate can be made to last 1,75/2,5/3,25 and would mute items and spells. What about it? Duration is really short.

But low the duration is a nerf... Silencer has to buy aghanins to have the itens muted...

Comparing to doom, that has a Damage/Silence/Disable, is idiot...

His ultimate has a insane manacost and big cooldown... Traxex silence last 6s, but with a low cooldown and manacost (big for her)... So mute itens is a power of a ultimate silence!
