INTRODUCTION



Summon Byrol The Trapmaster

<(Story)>
Byrol was kidnapped as a child by a group of forest trolls. They tortured and terrorized him, until he completed his plan to escape. Using their own traps against them, he ran away. From that moment on he has devoted his life to making traps.

Strength - 19 + 1.3 LVL 25 = 50
Agility - 18 + 1.9 LVL 25 = 63
Intelligence - 22 + 3.2 (Main Attribute) LVL 25 = 98

Learns Set Trap, Defensive Net, Bait and Trap Mastery

Attack range of 600
Movement speed of 280

Set Traps


Sets an invisible trap (stasis ward model) with 400 sight, that can have several abilities. More possible trap abilities are available on higher levels.

Level 1 - Net trap (3 second ensnare in 400 AoE)
Level 2 - Net trap, Fire trap (Burns in 400 AoE for 5 seconds 30 DPS, the longer an enemy stays in the fire zone the more damage the enemy takes. DPS increases by 10 each second.)
Level 3 - Net trap, Fire trap, Silence trap (3 sec silence in 400 AoE)
Level 4 - Net trap, Fire trap, Silence trap, Tree trap (plants a tree in place of the ward that is in fact a trap. Trees last 60 seconds and have 250/250 vision. Any units that get within 350 range of a tree get stunned for 1 second. Tree is destroyed after stunning. Max 5 trees) <The tree looks like it falls on the enemy. This may seem like a short stun but the Ulty increases it and the minimum lvl to get the tree trap is lvl 7 = u could get 1 ulty upgrade = longer stun>

Maximum of 5 trap wards at a time. Taking Trap Mastery upgrades all current placed trap wards as well. Using a trap destroys it.

Duration is 300 seconds
Casting Range is 500
Casting Time is 1

Cooldown: 40/30/20/10
Mana Cost: 85/110/135/160

Defensive Net

If an enemy attacks the Trapmaster, they might get entangled in his defensive nets.

Level 1 - 5% chance to ensnare on hit, 2 sec ensnare
Level 2 - 8% chance to ensnare on hit, 3 sec ensnare
Level 3 - 11% chance to ensnare on hit, 4 sec ensnare
Level 4 - 14% chance to ensnare on hit, 5 sec ensnare

Doesn't ensnare on magical damage.

Bait

The Trapmaster is able to use an allies body as a living trap, slowing them down but having surprise effects on any attackers. Baited unit is slowed by 20%

Level 1 - Attackers take 15 damage per attack, 10% chance of ensnare on attack.
Level 2 - Attackers take 25 damage per attack, 12% chance of ensnare on attack.
Level 3 - Attackers take 35 damage per attack, 14% chance of ensnare on attack.
Level 4 - Attackers take 45 damage per attack, 16% chance of ensnare on attack.

This can be used on any ally hero or unit. Can be cast on self. Any kills from this skill are credited to the Trapmaster.

Duration is 4/5/6/7
Casting Range is 300
Casting Time is 2

Cooldown: 40/35/30/25
Mana Cost: 145/160/175/190

Trap Mastery

Improves all other skills.

Level 1 - Set Trap (max 6 traps, all abilities last 1 sec longer), Defensive Net (2% increase in chance), Bait (10 extra damage per attack 15% slow)
Level 2 - Set Trap (max 7 traps, all abilities last 3 sec longer), Defensive Net (4% increase in chance), Bait (15 extra damage per attack 10% slow)
Level 3 - Set Trap (max 8 traps, all abilities last 5 sec longer), Defensive Net (6% increase in chance), Bait (20 extra damage per attack 5% slow)

This ability makes every skill work better and more efficiently.

Simple but can be used

Trap Master was a hunter who once knew the pain of losing your whole town with the attack of the living dead. Since then he alone tried to use his ability to hunt to finish the advance of evil forces, but one day he was captured and imprisoned in a dungeon demonic.
In this place he met an old and decayed Junchos called mad magician, who in his few days of life has lessons for all who could escape from that nightmare.
One night determined Trap Master has prepared its atimanhas and shadows of darkness hunted one by one all devils.
Free again entered the forest, and with the help of some friends not so friendly with the undead he used magic to a lethal attack. But their advance was useless by the forces of darkness and weakened even managed to return with one of its main pitfalls.
After being so collected by the forces of Sentinels. After regaining the strength he returns to battle with new allies.

The trap master no need cast time, duration or mana cost, can be passive! use a tree trap can be usefull

Idea is very good.
1 skill is good but i want to see how it work on practice. t-up
2 skill is strange. Byrol, The Trapmaster hit the enemy and SUDDENLY enemy ensnared. t-null.
3 skill is nice but again SUDDENLY enemy could be ensnared. But for idea t-up.
Ulti is ideal for this hero. Big T-UP.

Thanks for the feedback. I might make a testmap soon.

Skill 2 and 3 are not when Byrol attacks, its when he takes physical damage. This is to help him run away, since he has a bad ms.

P.S. Im crap at map making/scripting. Please help me :P
Ive done the hero (stats and stuff) but I need someone to help with the skills.

P.S.S SN0W37 has kindly agreed to make a testmap

Ok i played testmap and im very glad.
1 skill in practice very original and cool. But maybe better will be next:
Level 1 - Net trap (3 second ensnare in 400 AoE)

So u can see that i suggest you to replace Silence trap and Fire trap. But it is only IMHO.

Now rates

1st skill : 3/10
2nd skill : 6/10
3rd skill : 7/10
Ulti : 5/10
statgain: 1/10
model and icon : 7/10
story and creativity : 13/20
rest : 5/10
orginalty : 7/10
total : 54/100 = 5.4/10
if u get 8.6 or above than it than ur that part is good. Currently ur hero is very bad. It needs too much improvent.

Ok, but is it possible to get more detail? I cant improve if I dont know whats wrong
E.g. Rest? what is rest? I think u have categories for everything. And statgain seems very balanced to me. He has very low str gain and ms to counter the int gain.

i give u 1/10 4 all becouse this kind of hro it`s weird , i know heroes that haven`t explain thair use in name like Bristleback , u can call him stacker becouse all of his spels stacks but nobody does , u understand?
