What's wrong with simply naming it Defense of the Ancients? I mean if it's the same game but standalone then that isn't a bad idea. Taking the name of the map tells people to move on to the standalone game instead of the map.

^That. Take a look at L4D 1 and 2 , Half Life 1 & 2 , Grand Theft Auto etc. Even Warcraft 2 & 3 are quite similar, considering how many years have passed developing it.
