From recipe it only gains +1 stats, +1 armor (if captured) and altered block/regen/rune usage. Cannot be used by ally. (like bottle) Regenerate (passive): Upon receiving damage there is a 17% chance that it restores 70 hp and 35 mp instantly. Any received hero damage triggers this. Has a cooldown of 4 seconds. Imbue (passive): Whenever a rune is captured, there is a 17% chance upon receiving damage, that a buff - similar to the rune - activates. Haste, Double Damage, Regeneration, Invisibility last 6 seconds. Has a cooldown of 12 seconds. Illusion has no buffs, spawns two illusions instantly. Can capture a rune for 4 minutes. Capturing a new rune within 4 minutes replaces the latest one. Any received hero damage triggers this. Explanation: Stout Shield+Bottle work as the passive regeneration - it's better than a block, weaker than a bottle fill - still effective later. Buckler's active is removed and the armor bonus now depends on Rune Capture.Pros: - Encourages rune hunting. - Alternative regeneration. - Effective against physical dps. - Alternative usage of neglected items. - Alternative for Vanguard (for heroes who lack mana, e.g. Axe). Even the prize matches. - Better late game influence of runes. - Relatively cheap. - A possibility for most heroes. - Since any damage triggers it, Regeneration rune can be used in battles for those not in the center. Cons: - Bottle is used as an ingredient. (Well, this have been stated as a con for Wraith Brand and Ghost Scepter too, and look what happened...) - Runes cannot be activated manually. - You tell me. |

Please make a CD for your trigegred Regeneration, because otherwise this will just rape Pudge and Darkseer.
Rot deals damage every... 0.25 seconds Ionshell deals damage every 0.1 seconds Both will heal you by insane amounts.

Yea make the cd something like 15 sec for regen.
Apart from that this is a great item.

give regeneration a slight cd, like 0.5 or 0.7.

That is way too little. Read the above posts. Or play a game with axe. The amount he spins is the amount of regen. Its too much.

Concept is awesome.
To make it balanced you must work out the EHP it gives compared to other items. Oh and I didnt mean a big cd. Just 10 sec.

I don't even understand why that's a mandatory. That was said about Bracers/Wraiths too and IceFrog used Wraith in Ethereal Blade. |

bottle is for offensive gankers therefore i dont see any reason why we would use it to make something that adds more ehp. also i see this item as gamebreaking even if it would be balanced, no matter how much.. and. dont touch to bottle like audacious said, please.

Bottle needs a late item. IMO. But I do agree on Regeneration cooldown, on what those peeps are telling are just right. T-Up with Regen Cooldown 10-12 seconds. will try find an icon to this. |
