Did you ever stop to think that maybe there is more to picking and banning?

You have never had a real clan war or been part of a serious team that picks and bans with a strategy that involves picking certain heroes to play a certain way while trying to force the opposition into picking heroes that most compliment your lineup.

Comments like "Wtf everyone hates Brood? =D " and "MCitY probably has an insane Brood player, nothing more. " are an insult to the time preparation and execution that these teams spend practicing for days together.

This is inherently the problem with the dota scene 99% of the people that watch and read up on these replays have no real idea what is happening or how to evaluate and get the best from these replays.. they simply read a few guides play a few pubs and watch 999 replays and think they know something about dota.

Yes, I truly agree with -Secret-! While they're playing at this level, most of the players are definitely better than us (the pubs level, maybe even clan). Their understanding of the game couldn't been questioned due to strategy the team relies on in specific game. But just wanted to say, + is an imba lane pusher. IMO, guess game 2 goes so fast due to that factor. Btw, job well done by MCiTY (after two losses to Mski (1-2) and Ct (1-2) and for DTrust they had to step up for a notch higher.

i really dont get you.. they merely just asking with why brood suddenly banned in this 3 games (strategy wise) and i dont see they were mocking anyone of the Trust or MCity (like, noobzzz why ban brood). so whats with the attitude?? why cant you just answer their question if you are the 1%.

sg-host1 is a bug caused by bot hosting
it randomly changed 1 player name into sg-host1
however, i did put the real nick beside sg-host1

Lol mr imthetoptenplayerontheglobe. I'm sure you're much smarter and intelligent person than me, and you know everything about dota and the picks, but if you're really that awesome, how about answering a question instead of acting like u are better than all of us (u certainly aren't, smart ppl don't act like you). Based on the fact that eg their first lineup wasn't vulnerable to Brood at all, i don't get the point of banning her. Thats all.

yeah, when the player reach its peak of skills and knowledge of a hero or manipulating a hero, sometimes bans and pick play an important role to achieve victory, when your skills and understanding to the game is equal.

you don't have to be too harsh on people who are lacks of knowledge, but rather guide them 1 step at the time, "what we know it teaches us, what we don't know we learned"

Secret has a point, however, he might not knowingly know how to put them on non-offending words to readers. Sometimes we express our opinions but those opinions might not be good to others.

I also agree with amon-r3 that sometimes bans and pick play an important role. Why do teams ban? simply because they want to put balance to the match or to put advantage on their team to win.
