Default Rejected heroes of the past

I read the topic made in:
Guide to rejected DotA heroes

They didn't finish with the rest of the rejected heroes. And since I'm still curious about them, does anyone know anything about those heroes or where I can find information about those heroes?

Are these old heroes from Eul's and Guinsoo's DotA? I don't know what versions Guinsoo used to work on because I started playing dota at 6.61.

Those old heroes are something else. Who would think that a 60 second sleep spell was a good idea for a game that is meant to be 'fun' :S

IceFrog take over DotA since version 6.00

Previous version is managed by Guinsoo

Older version is managed by Eul

The only hero I actually miss is Razor. Pre-1.0 Razor (not rejected, but remade, time after time). Actually he would be damn imba now.

Luckily, Lion and Leoric are still standing tall, living up to their glorious past.

So no one else wrote anything about older heroes that were scrapped?

I'm disappointed tbh, it was a great thread to read, it really showed how much dota has changed over so many years.

He didn't talk about old ogre magi. Instead of ignite, he had a lightning shield which was pretty much Ion Shell except it also damaged allies. Multicast didn't work on that spell in any way.
But the most important thing was the multicast. It had a 100% chance of working, but it increased the cd and mana cost of firebolt and bloodlust. Best part - aghanim's worked and increased the multicast count, and even more importantly, i think it stacked, and you could have 6 aghanim's and cast like 10 firebolts.

Another one - Old Visage. No, not talking about the one we all remember with 6 familiars and the pushing soul assumption, neither for the auto-cast soul assumption. I'm talking about a real old visage that didn't belong to any hero role.
He had mana burn, blink, another ability which i don't remember, and he had his good 'ol revenants which were present until a few versions ago.

I'm planning on writing a thread about such heroes myself, though need moar materials. Meh, if i feel like doing it one day i might make it...

WTF? I found this on DotA-Allstars through the link...

Yes, I jest not. Slayer USE TO BE A MAN!! How did this happen? Here history diverges in agreement, but what most likely happen is this: Link Inverse, a man raised as a Blood Elf Prince next to Kaal, was one day walking through the forests of Silvermoon when he heard a noise like that of nude pretty Elven girls between the ages of 95 - 97 (approximately 16 in Human years) splashing each other playfully while bathing. Unable to resist his indecent urges, Link Inverse stole next to a bush and peeped on them - his eyes lingering on a particularly busty one with a pretty sparkle in her eye and blond curls in her hair. Years later, when Link was dragged into the epic struggle between Sentinel and Scourge onto the Sentinel side, Link met a girl he instantly found familiarly yet couldn't recognize - Celeste...of Silvermoon. Link watched her from a distance - usually when she stood on higher-elevation so he could see her panties - but was afraid to speak to her; everytime he got close, his heart jumped to his throat and a most awkwardly painful buldge would grind against his pants (his spell components). So the two fought side-by-side, Link knowing Celeste only as the innocent temptress who dominated his dreams nightly and Celeste knowing Link only as that freaky emo-blood-freak who always woke up with a weird wet spot on his boxers while moaning out her name....Until, that is, that fateful day when Celeste was taken from this world. Overcome with grief and emotion, Link secluded himself into a dark corner, turned off the lights, and began listening to Dashboard Confessions until he cried himself to sleep. When his tears dried, Link began a phase of bitterly masturbating to overcome his anguish - but that too proved futile; he was dead in the pants. So, in the depth of despair, Link prayed to Icefrog for Celeste's body, and Icefrog, having a wicked sense of human, gave it to him...making it replace his own. Suddenly a girl, Link was overjoyed, but to throw off suspicion, Link Inverse changed his name to Lina Inverse, and when he - she - returned to the battlefield, in the 5.xx, people had already forgotten the old Link...

My friends, you have just fantasized over a transvestite... or should I say Inverstite

Gender comment apart, Old Invoker was so imba... with notable
31
skills...

Fire Lord. Not the one with Guldan's model but the Bloodseeker model. His skills were somewhat different to the Guldan Fire Lord. All I can remember is him having an armor buff that gave +6 armor at level (RoC DotA only went to level 10 during the early maps irrc) that lasted 160 seconds and had a 10-30 second CD.
