Obviously skills would factor into the character design, they may not have the innate str to wear the heaviest armor but their skills should compensate (increased dodge, staff blocking for e.g.)

And D2 was designed so that Elite armors to have similar defense stats to encourage a wide adoption of looks, personally light-medium armor looks the best to me (paladin looks like shit tbh) on most characters and they also drain stamina less. But Stamina probably won't even be a consideration in D3, it's another dumb mechanic just like keys. My hero should be able to run all the time damn time whenever he/she wants.

Still Blizzard has the time to make joke heros with nice looking skills (lol), and wont show much more about the actual game, gameplay, heroes, itamz, etc.

Already both an i7, 6GB DDR3, and TRI SLI just because of it. Hope it looks good on a 24 Inch LCD

I'd rather them release late then release early with bugs, i found out the hard way when playing anarchy online on release.. wow was that hell.

So, meanwhile who's still playing D2?

I'm gonna resume playing on bnet once ladder resets/new patch rolls out, meanwhile I've been test-running SP characters on the hi-res mod+ladder runewords enabled.

I'm still playing D2 sometimes I get bored, killing Baal and Mephisto by myself, dropping some unique items without cheat still kind a fun for me.

I will, waiting for ladder to reset atm, taking forever, hoping it gets released on june 17th like it did last couple years.
