Who are the oldest heroes in DotA?

I would like to hear which heroes was first in the game, or have remained unchanged for a long time. This will make me ask, has any hero been completely removed from the game? I believe DotA has a large history

It's true that DotA has a big history.

I'll give you a runthrough of the heroes that were available in 5.36 that went through small changes or had similar abilities (definitely not the oldest version, but one of the really old versions):

- Juggernaut
- Clinkz
- Drow
- Bounty Hunter
- Anti-Mage
- Phantom Assassin
- Rikimaru
- Slardar
- Terrorblade

Heroes that went through big changes but existed back in that version were:

- Pudge
- Chen
- Viper
- Silencer

There are more but I will have to take a look at 5.36 again. Also, this thread has been posted before.

Furion, Lion, Leoric, Juggernaut, Lich, Akasha and more. These heroes have remained pretty much the same as far as I can remember. It has been a long time since 5.84c though so I can't be 100% sure.

Completely removed heroes: Gambler and Wolf Raider for example. There are more but I can't remember the names or consepts..

You should purchase the old manta style - it was so weird. Also butterfly was really imba:

+40 agility
+30 damage
+80 attack speed
+30% evasion
