The one thing I'm dissapointed about in that trailers is the look of Bloodseeker, I personally preferred that. Everything else is amazing though.

Everyone is amazed/excited and all about Dota 2 but when it comes to buying the game, how many of you would actually buy it? Not to discourage anyone but the average statistic of my friends actually owning an original Warcraft 3 is 1% (The 1% is me...) I doubt my friends would P2P though and since this is from steam, I hardly see any cyber cafes even equipped with Steam in my place. I just hope that I'm not the only person playing this game in my place once Dota 2 is out...

If this game is a one time payment then I would absolutely buy it. If I have to make payments per month then no, I'll be sad and find something else.

The reason nobody buys the original War3 is because they stopped production and sales at some point if I remember, if I could've bought the original I would, but almost every single PC game in Malaysia is fake...

@Craxuan, it's so true. As a Malaysian myself, I've realized that piracy is all we have and does. Since everyone talks about Dota 2, let me conduct a quick survey while it's still hot. Let's see:

1) Are you willing to pay 2 play? (Regardless of 1 time fee or monthly)
2) Do you know how valve steam works?
3) Is your PC capable of running Source engine? (Or L4D quality)
4) Do you have Imba (Godlike) internet speed?
5) Do you even have any original games?

If most of your answer is no, I guess this is just not the game for you even if you are a Dota pro/hardcore fan. Do post your answer

I'll definitely buy DotA2 if its sold as a whole. If its a monthly subscription I would have to think about it first. My university blocks steam, unfortunately, but with a proxy it is easily remedied

Sort of. You get to buy some extra misc stuff for the game, right?
