I though HoldenCasulfield is TrollWarlord.... (From looking at his coversations, but I can't tell if he was trolling)

Back onto gnoll's poison... the only nerf that'd be right is a mana increase. You have to stack it 4-5 times for it to deal considerable damage, and once you start shooting, your enemy will pretty much know what's coming his way.

You can whine elitism as much as you want, but this doesn't have anything to do with elitism. Why don't you ask to remove powershot, Miranas Arrow, Pudges Hook, Techies mines?
You can't relax because of them. But you want to relax.

If you want to relax, go and play Solitaire or go to a spa.
If you want to play DotA, then don't thing you're going to relax since this is a game which is supposed to be full of action from start till end. And not a relaxation center.

It's like saying that you want to relax playing Counter Strike.
First ask your self what game you're playing, then try to thing is that game about relaxing or should it have much action.

Dualrangelane against him - one of you should stay in the fog (but in xp-range, preferable in lasthitrange as well). When the visible partner has 2 stacks on him, just swap positions.

Of course, you also should get a Magic Stick. Like this you get 4 Charges Stick = 60 HP against 0.75*140=105 Damage which means 45 Dmg/12 Sec = 3.75 dps while also getting mass mana while reducing Gnoll's mana.

I think you get the idea - just care so he can't permanently stack it on one of you in case he wants to spam it.

Less dangerous than potm arrow, pudge hook and many other skills, meanwhile giving you tons of magic stick charges and fairly easy to dodge. Its a great skill but not overpowered, does very little damage unless you get hit 3+ times in a row.

I agree with the elitism thing. I also only play dota to relax and have fun (and not that gay win = fun thing) and now we got new heros with no passive abilites. If I wanted to micro like np and push buttons like hell, I'd play starcraft.

back to topic: its not easy to dodge, especially when not being host and have slow heros like rhasta or cm.

Guys, just watch gnoll's animation and you well be fine.
YOu can even stand at a direction where gnoll is not facing, and when he turn toward you then you should know what is comming

And for all you relaxers, don't blame dota for requiring the players to concentrate.
