T-Down both. Look at Io's pathetic stat gain. 1.7 INT gain isn't going to support much spamming, and as you said, it is Io's key skill and requires a lot of spamming.
On the other hand, 60 IAS for 1% HP+MP/sec is OBVIOUSLY going to be abused, and nobody would level it till extreme lategame. Perhaps 1.8/2/2.4/2.6 but 1% is too little. It's not even like he has a lot of HP to support it. |

Id have to disagree with The Lord God about Tether, I actually think that it needs to be nerfed more. At the very least the cast range. 1800 cast range for a non-ulti displacement spell [unless you count Teleport] is unheard of. Magina has to wait to level 7 to gain a 1150 range for his Blink or for Void to gain 1300 range for his Timewalk. Given that Tether can only be cast on an ally unit, but Io was made to be a support hero, there has always got to be an ally nearby. Plus Tether is so much more rewarding than any displacement spell in the game. Maybe increase the mana cost to about 100 [Io has high base INT, he can manage] and lower the cast range to 1400 or something.

Then ignore lower cast range. I was just rationalizing why I think Tether needs a higher mana cost.

I can't believe I never thought of touching Tether's manacost. I've been thinking of a good way to balance Io. I still say we should increase Relocate cast-time to 4/3/2 Ignore infer, he has this thing about ignoring obvious imbalances.. Io as a concept is not imba.. But the numbers on his skills are way too good. He deserves a small nerf in one or two of his skill and he still will not lose much effectiveness.

thanks! Lord god's statement is not suited. U see his mana pool of 1400 very high in comparison to 70. Check effects given by tether. Well it was too high.

What are you talking about?A stun that does too many things should not cost 40,much like 140!!
40-70 is the least nerf. But I wouldn't recommend rushing numerical suggestions yet.... |
