Default [TWEAK] Omnislash


Simple suggestion.

Make Yurnero slash the chosen target after slashing a random unit if the target's still in the search area and visible.
Fog of war doesn't matter.

August 17
Nerfed (thanks to Jenova-)


1st slash:Chosen target.
2nd slash:Random unit in search area.
3rd slash:Random unit in search area.
4th slash:Chosen target if possible or random unit in search area.
5th slash:If random unit is hit by 4th slash:Chosen target if possible or random unit in search area
.If chosen target is hit by 4th slash:Random unit in search area
6th slash:If random unit is hit by 5th slash:Chosen target if possible or random unit in search area
.If chosen target is hit by 5th slash:Random unit in search area

t-down. The skill not only renders omni invul, but at lvl 1 it can deal 450-750 unavoidable dmg to a single unit, all while dodging any damage omni would potentially receive.

Smart players already know when and where to use this, and it can already be devastating in a team battle. The only counters to this are invisibility, which doesn't always avoid it, or having numbers so that he will be less likely to hit you. Making it deal at least a set number of hits to the main target would mean it's a guaranteed amount of damage and in most cases, a guaranteed kill. Don't forget this also breaks channeling on the main target.

I think omnislash is fine and plenty lethal as is, no need for these noobish additions to make the skill a lot easier to use.

Regarding the topic at hand, while I do find the idea strangely appealing, I do fear this might make Omnislash a little too strong as well.

Then again, plenty of skills can counter Omnislash, not to mention Ghost Scepter (and Dagger, if you are lucky and fast enough).

My only concern is that being able to choose the target at both the first slash and the 3rd one is bound to make the skill too powerful in the earlier levels. I'd personally sacrifice a little consistency in favour of balance, making the "targeted slashs" as following: 1st, 4th, 6thn 8th and 10th.

That way, the skill is kept balanced in the first two level of the skills (since you can only target the slash a single time in level 1, and twice in level 2), and makes it completely profitable in the later levels.

Just my two cents in the matter. Interesting suggestion overall.

Being partly guaranteed is different from being guaranteed.

Actually, the chosen target can simply run away from the search area. But you're right anyway.

In all honesty, they could make a better mechanism for omnislash altogether but I'm not going to bother going into that because most people would think it's stupid.
