Lasts 3 seconds with melee Ice Shard, 1.5 seconds with ranged Ice Shard

I think you're going at this the wrong way. 1.5 sec won't matter much since heroes have a BAT of 1.7 anyway. Instead, I think you should keep it like Orb of Venom. 12% slow for melee, 4% for ranged. There's not much need to buf the slow. As it is, your suggestion is already arguably more viable than Sange.

To be honest though, I wold have liked it more if the build-up was like this

So that Skadi's ends up like this

And so each item has 3 components and Ice Shard becomes more expensive than Sange and less viable.

Ahh i see, sounds good to me. I'll do a remake later tonight. What about the DPS though from Orb of Venom? Should that be carried on? If so, will it be carried on to Skadi? That's the trouble, I think it's best if we eliminate it at the Ice Shard stage, thus I buffed the slow to compensate for the DPS. What do you think?

good idea, but maybe there will be a problem that Skadi becomes unpopular, because of the gold cost, and Ice Shard already do what Skadi can do (although its lesser). Anyway, it's still a good work

Actually Skadi will work out to be the same price in the end, For 3.9k I think the item is just right. All it takes is another 2.4k And Skadi is finished.

Atm, Skadi is a little underused in the game, this should give it some leverage.

What if the recipe removed? Many said that adding recipe on Skadi is unnecessary. I think it will be better that way

I understand and agree with the dps of OoV not being carried on to Ice Shard.

I like it so far. It solves the problem of a single item, Skadi, having 5 recipe components. Though it does add a problem of the item taking up space in the shop ^^.

I don't think you mean

But instead

This actually gives skadi new life if implemented, most players [me included] put skadi into their luxury items list because of it's high number of components and two of them being high cost, with this, the total cost stays the same but now the build ups is much more easier and will not take up as much of the item space.

I don't like the idea that you have an item that is fundementally the same as a current item. Perhaps change the effect a little. Why not make it so that they enemy is slowed when they hit YOU, rather then when you hit THEM. That way, it's different, but can still act as a waypoint to a Skadi. Plus, it also makes sense for it to be a defensive item early game, and then an attacking item late game.

I'm confuse, Gelidity is a orb or passive or both? Meaning Frost attack and perma frost armor.

T-up, i hated EoS after OoV was implemented. Untouchable is similar to frost armor you might want to consider.
