Wardancer Shinjo Firefur

Shinjo Firefur is a semi-carry with incredible disabling skills, which are based on knockbacks. His semi-carrying comes from the high mobility provided by his thrid skill, Blazing Speed, and his high magic damage.
Therefore, his playstyle is at best compared to the other two mobility and spell damage based carry in the game now, Akasha and Storm Spirit.

His combo is based on a 'ping-pong' concept, using his two skills, Eruption and Lava Dance. He wants his enemies to touch either his lava fields or his lava wall and bounce to something else, that will bounce him back to another lava field or wall.
To make use of the bouncing enemies, he get's faster the more his enemies move. Every enemy hero that moves, when he's near Shinjo, will enable the Wardancer to fly around as a ball of fire, which can cross trees and cliffs and roll through units, damaging them if they are enemies.
His second skill, Solar Beam also profits of moving enemies, as it damages them when they pass the beam. In addition, allies who walk trough it, will recieve a heal.

When engaging Shinjo, be sure to carefully plan your moves or you will end up swirling around in the air while a Fireball-Panda moves with incredible speed around the battlefield, igniting everything he touches.

Shinjo Firefur once lived as a sun-worshipping solitary in the Redridge Mountains. Harming no living being, he lived peacefully until one day, when the Burning Legion sent a company of Fel Orcs to exterminate the human villages in this area. Not able to tolerate such cruelity, Shinjo abandoned his oath to not intervene in the common happenings to help the innocent people. Using the ancient arts of the pandaren wardancers and his own control over blazing heat, he was able to overwhelm the invaders. Because he broke his oath, he could no longer live as an exile and he decided to continue the fight for the good, withing the ranks of the Sentinel.

Shinjo is able to cover a bigger area with his blades. While doing so, he is able to damage more enemies but with lesser damage. Shinjo’s searing blades are able to cause an eruption if he attacks a certain point long enough, creating a field of lava. If an enemy touches one of this fields, the will receive damage and get knocked back.

Shinjo calls a beam of solar light from the skies that will shine on the target area. When an enemy leaves this area, he will be damaged, but when an ally leaves the area he will be healed. The beam stays in that area for 5 seconds. Your allies can only be healed by a single beam once.

The Wardancer takes his energy from the movement. Moving enemy heroes empower him and enable him to move as a fireball with incredible speed and without collision. While he is moving in this state, Shinjo will damage every enemy he moves through.

• He will travel with a movementspeed of 800
• When an enemy moves in a 600 AoE around Shinjo, a percentage of the distance will be used by Shinjo to travel as a fireball
• Shinjo will move as a fireball everytime he has stored energy and a movement command is ordered
• Engery is stored by every sort of enemy movement (normal movement commands, knockbacks, Force Staff, Blink, etc)
• Can only gain energy from enemy heroes, nor neutrals or enemy creeps
• When a movement order is issued and not enough energy is stored to cover it, he will move the possible distance as a fireball and the remaining distance normally
• While Shinjo is a fireball, he can move through units, trees and over cliffs
• Shinjo is not invulnerable while travelling
• Enemies can only be damaged with this skill once every second

The pulsing fire in each of Shinjo’s blades create a wall of lava that will slowly move towards the targeted point over two seconds, one from the left and one from the right. When the walls touch an enemy, he will get damaged and knocked back. The lava will perish after four seconds.

Watch your enemies how they play ping-pong with your lava fields and lava walls, while thay are damaged by the solar beams, and gain energy from it. When you have enough start rolling through your bouncing enemies, damaging them and healing yourself with the solar beam.

Either by knocking them around or by just being annoying, this guys help you to gain energy for Blazing Speed faster.

It should be clear by now, that we like moving enemies. An item, that can make them move into your lava is even better.

Functionality of Abilities (18.5/24):
Skill 1 - 4.5/6
It would have been better if there was a diagram of the skill. However, the mechanics are well thought-out and pretty easily understandable. The Lava field adds a touch of originality on Shinjo's part, it grants some decent firepower when you have no mana of avail. Balance is laid out well with the % of your damage rather than a whole. Good, solid ability.

Skill 2 - 5/6
Reminds me of many "tunnel" abilities that have been suggested, but this one is much much more simpler. The execution of this is fast and pretty clear. That's what I like about the skill the most. Definitely see a synergy here with the 1st skill. Deadly and very deceiving to begin with. It could work with many many other heroes that are flexible enough to use this skill to their own advantage. Very nice skill.

Skill 3 - 5/6
As I said like in the 1st skill, it would have been best if a diagram or more in-depth chart or an image was laid out of how this "fireball" would look like. Nevertheless, the skill of moving as if a fireball is very interesting. You were think probably thinking of Ball Lightning here weren't you? I love the small damage additive to make it more realistic. Great ability.

Ultimate - 4/6
Grants synergy and anti-synergy with Shinjo's skills. Synergy with the pushbacks of the 1st ability and anti-synergy with the disallowing of going out of the AoE from skill 2. Regardless, the skill is good, but definitely needs a more structure. If the skill has two lava walls on each side, the enemy can just go srtaight up or down to avoid it. A silence could have been added as well to increase its appeal and durability in ganks. But solid ability thus far.

Synergy (21/24):
Skill Synergy -10/12
Synergy is greatly present, however some anti-synergetic factors arise.

Other Synergy - 11/12
Would do well with heroes that have dispositioning abilities that can work with his skill set. Items could help out, say Force Staff for skill 2.

Gameplay (26/30):
Gameplay and Depth - 8/10
Would be fun to play, and very dynamic, seeing how much fun you'd be having with the Fireball skill.

Fluency and Suitability - 8/10
Great use of the challenge skill, and certainly fits the model used. Great job.

Balance - 10/10
Balance has been your best friend here with the hero. It gets a perfect score from it.

Others (21/22):
Appeal - 9/10
Everyone wants to see the Fire model implemented in-game, and with Shinjo's skills, I could bet a skill or two from this hero would work well with the possible implementation of a possible Fire Panda model.

Cosmetics - 7/7
Loved the icons and the well-written story.

Originality - 5/5

I sure you mean Skill #3.
But it's no way the same skill, it's very unreliable and weaker in terms of defense.
You could say, it's a more offensive-oriented and passive version of Ball Lightning.

And to have mentioned it...
Well, the ROFL animation for the Fire Panda exists, so why should I not use it?
