T-D on the first, except on enemies.
T-up on the second, saves missclicks as well...

It's extremely annoying when an enemy has 40 hitpoints left and uses healing salve, you run and apply Nightmare on him... and there you go, you saved your own enemy since now he is invulnerable for 1-2 seconds and is still healing his own life points (even thou you "damage" him)

T-Up to both.
The second is a no-brainer actually, IceFrog must've missed it or something.

If you read it, it means I t-d for disabling Clarity/Salve on Allies.

I enjoy the fact that you can deny allies with Nightmare. Aside from that, T-up.

Wouldn't -disablehelp screw with the passing on mechanic?

Not necessarily. Of course it has to be defined what will happen when an allied unit with -disablehelp attacks an already Nightmared unit. But since it's the attacking player's fault, Nightmare should be passed to him even if he has -disablehelp on.
If the check for -disablehelp is only done when Atropos casts Nightmare (and not when the dummy unit which "passes" Nightmare casts it), it will cause the behaviour I mentioned above.

Thanks for the comments.
Nightmare is one of the most f-up spells in game so let's give it some fixes

-disablehelp would disable it on the player that typed the command, so you wouldn't be able to target it/be targeted by nightmare
