First games is an absolute must-watch. Hell, that's an awesome strat, Vanguard + Armour and Howl + aura ftw!

First game is the weirdest game of DotA I have ever seen.
First Puppey with the fail salve.. then the mass vanguard, and the final push. |

First game was very lame and boring until the OMGWTFBBQ throne race ending (lol).
Second game... haven't watched it, but it looks like NWO outplayed LGD quite handily. |

NWO brings freshblood to current DotA, especially in game 1. t-up to puppey.
Luna blessing + Command aura + Howl + Vladmir's Offering = buff up whole team damage for pushing Wave of Terror + Weave = massive -armor SP's heal + Lion = support imba pushing strategy LGD need to get out from the systematic pick/gameplay, otherwise they can't improve themselves while the world is improving.

the strat in game 1 fascinated me. makes me happy to see, that puppey still has the balls to do something quite uncommon in a srs match. lgd disappointed me again. it seems to me that they just randomly pick good heroes but they lack the bigger ideas.

Only have time to watch game 1.
The bizzare strategy from sent took advantage of the fact that the scourge didn't really have many reliable disables. WR, chen, and wd all rely on mistakes to take advantage of their stuns while lion, venge, dazzle (and luna) are point and click. The stacking damage auras with -armor shows that NWO had planned this strategy for a while. Very well played. |

The first game is deeper than just mass aura for + damage. It kinda requires for the team to stay alive at all times. So they concentrate very hard on strong defense on all their heroes. It is like a perfect storm of defenses.
Wave of Terror to reduce damage and amplify team damage, Vanguard to reduce initial hit, high armor to reduce even more damage, mass heal from Shadow Wave to heal even more damage, mekanism to provide even more mass heal and armor, and finally wand on almost everybody to provide a further boost for healing. Oh I guess Shallow Grave in case something goes wrong too. Now that they have this super defense they also have perfect storm of damage amplification. Wave of Terror, Howl, Weave, Command Aura, Lunar Blessing, and Vladamir Aura. In most other lineups getting Vanguard on all these heroes would have been noobish. Here it falls together nicely. |

ping doesnt equal lag. Watch the yyf storm and have a good laugh how he jumps on opponents´s possitions with 2 second delay. Then watch his storm against Ehome, then watch zsmj´s necro running arround and pressing D without hitting. Then watch how ch lags our before the last fight at second game when ganging kuroky´s tinker and yyf rofls where kuroky has been 2 seconds ago.

Even though NWO had a superior strategy on game one.
LGD would never be able to end fast, while Lycan would be a monster lategame with all these auras.
