[Warcraft 3] [GUIDE] All about 1.26a

hello,

I have downloaded the dotA package for the first time and am struggling to get it to work with my Warcraft 3 frozen throne. when i open it the world editor opens, then i attempt to open dotA in world editor. I get an error message saying that i do not have enough storage space, but i have 500gb free. Any suggestions? please email me at unbrakeable41889@AOL.com...

You must go INTO the Frozen Throne, and then select the single player game, and go to custom game, and chose your DotA map.

do it again,just follow the instruction ow to use war3 fixer i, i had that problem before when patching my TFT to 1.24b but now id already knew how to fix my RoC or TFT.
and now id already patch mine to 1.24d

how to fix it?

You downloaded a patch for the english W3, when your warcraft uses some other language. Try to find the patch in your own language here: Blizzard Support

Try patching using the full 1.24d patch, and if you already did, try downloading the file again.

If you're using Vista, try running the patch as an administrator.

If all else fails, do a re-install.

Right click the patch icon, and select: Run As Administrator.

I downloaded and followed the instructions given here to update my Warcraft into version 1.24.3.6384, the update went smoothly and no error happened, I can play Warcraft like usual and Dota as well.

However, one thing is not working anymore.

AI maps are not being recognized by the game anymore, normal maps appear and are playable without any issue but AI maps does not appear at the game selection screen at all and this happened right after I did the update.

No version of any AI map works but all normal ones does.

Any idea as to what might be my issue?

Rename the AI maps into something very short like for example "666bAI.w3x"

i got a problem

C:\program file\warcraft\war3
error : the patcher cannot find the specific file.
how can i solve it?

Is that where you have your W3? Do you have that file?

If you DO have that file, but somewhere else, you may use any of these 2 programs to fix the registry values:
W3Fixer
war3register

You simply have to enter the real location of your W3.

Actually the easiest way to patch a Wc3 is to copy and paste the patch file you have downloaded at http://ftp.blizzard.com/pub/war3x/pa...4d_English.exe or Blizzard Support into your Wc3 program file. The patch file will automatically detect and patch the file where it is in after you double-click the patch file.
