[Warcraft 3] [GUIDE] All about 1.26a

Your warcraft was cracked, so it can't be fixed. I suggest you to either buy original version, or to do this:

1. Uninstall Warcraft 3
2. Delete folder which is left behind
3. Install Warcraft 3
4. Install Frozen Throne
5. Download official 1.24b here http://ftp.blizzard.com/pub/war3x/pa...4b_English.exe
6. Apply patch
7. End

I am fully updated in versions of Warcraft and my Dota AI map. Everything seems to work fine until about 5 minutes into gameplay when the game crashes and I'm presented with a fatal error. Anyone know how to avoid this?

This guide has nothing to do wit AI crashing. Post AI problems there. Also, known crashes at AI MAP are TwinHeadedDragon, Techies and Crystal Maiden.

i have a "cracked" version :O i got it from a friend, i could play Bnet with it and i didn't need a cd, but now i cant patch, i have tried the fixer and it still can't find the install path :/
any advice? my friend said i could have the cd's but since i didn't need them i just left them at his house....and his house is in another country :O

so any advice?

EDIT: the problem is that i still can't find the install path, you said something about other ways, i am pretty good with computers so i can probably figure it out if you or someone else just gives some pointers.

Go to Start button > Run > Regedit > Look for HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Blizzard Entertainment\Warcraft III > Look for install path > If that's not where you installed your game, change it.

but... why i cannot see and play DOTA Map 6,59 AI + ???

It happens because that version is not compatible with the new coding system used by 1.24b.

Try the newest AI map and it'll work fine!

Right-click the standalone patch and choose "Run as administrator".

If you are using Vista, right click the Patch and then select "Run as Administrator"

If you are not using Vista, it seems that you're not the admin of your computer.

okay i found the wc 3 folder but is install path a file? cause well, i can't find it.
i have tried the fixer a couple of times and it's not working

i have tried updating with the standalone update file, and just using Bnet but still it can't find the install path.
my computer has been turned off for about 2-3 months
maybe that's the problem?

Download this program, open, select your wc3 folder then click OK.

Try to update it again.

To open what? If you mean the fixer, use WinRAR, WinZIP, 7Zip or any other standard extractor.

If you mean the patch, just double click it!
