yes i did.... i download direct x 8.1 and still doest work

Disable then re-enable Direct 3D:

- Click Start
- Click Run
- Type dxdiag and push Enter
- Select the Display tab
- Click the Disable button next to Direct3D Acceleration
- Click the Enable button next to Direct3D Acceleration and try the game again

tnx , its running already but the patch is still 1.23.0.6352, do i have to click again on the patch fts 1.24 or do i have to remove/delete 1.23

If it's 1.23 so you didn't apply the patch properly.

Just Double click the 1.24b patch, it's not necessary to remove the 1.23 version

still wont work, i double click on and same error : the program was unable to find a file required for patching , file name crogram files\warcraftIII\war3.mpq , was advice to repatch, what can i do from here ?

i tried reinstalling , error now is frozen throne was unable to detect a disc in your cd rom drive. please make sure your frozen throne disc is in your cd rom drive ..... how can i fixed this ?

Start button > Run > Regedit > Look for HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Blizzard Entertainment\Warcraft III > Look for install path > what should i typein for value date?
it only has = C:\Program Files\Warcraft III, should i change this path ??? where ? i save the game in my desktop

First, stop to post consecutively. If you have something to add just edit your own post.

What you did with regedit is what the war3register does automatically.
There's no reason to do it manually like you did if you already did it with war3register.

1. Open war3register
2. Select your wc3 folder
3. Click OK.
4. Close war3register
5. Run the 1.24b Patch

If something weird happen post it here.

EDIT: I suppose It's asking for cd because you have an old version of wc3.
Update it as I said and then run the wc3 again.

1. Uninstall Warcraft 3
2. Delete folder which is left behind
3. Install Warcraft 3
4. Install Frozen Throne
5. Download official 1.24b here http://ftp.blizzard.com/pub/war3x/pa...4b_English.exe
6. Apply patch
7. End

i did patch to 1.24 successfully but when i open 6.62 map, it will return to map selection menu. pls help me

Just check the number under your Quit button. It should be 1.24.1.6374

If it isn't, than it means, you don't have 1.24b

Uhm, what do you mean by "my battle net was disappear.." ¿? I don't understand. You access to Battle.net trough the W3, not trough a file inside the W3 folder.

After you download the file I linked above, you simple double-click it, and the program will patch your W3.

The patch file should have around 56 mb. If the one you downloaded has less than that, you should download it again.

yes sir, my version is 1.24b already but when i load map 6.62 and above, it will return to map selection menu.

That sounds like a wrong version, or a corrupted map.

Check again if you have the correct version by doing as Cp6uja said, and check if the number is exactly 1.24.1.6374

Try downloading the latest dota map from getdota.com but this time download it as a zip file (to do that, just check the option "Download as zip" before starting the download).
