I sent you something, just check it out, and i misinterpreted what you said. I thought there would be no more judges to decide and maybe make it more democratic, which is imo not too hierarchical (which is the approved way of contests).

In other words, i thought there were no more judges for this, and maybe other people will vote and decide. But you actually meant that no more judges can participate. Anyway I am excited for this, Do your best guys.

Yes, the main challenge is QoP remake. I pointed only the weakest skill. In this RTA you can choose which skill(s) you remake.
Akasha remake is way harder than Krobelus one, where the Witchcraft obviously was the skill which need remake.

-you can lose points from every judge
-I don't think Ice Frog will change name/title of any hero
On the other hand, it isn't something important. I will think about removing Hero Theme from Rubric in the future.

If anyone can make shadow strike SOUND related like the rest of her skillset: Scream of Pain, Sonic Wave, Blink, that would be great.

personal note: it feels so nostalgic, because the Queen of Pain thread is the first thread I read in PD forum. that is to say, I have read countless of attempts to remake/rework her. Hope I won't have to after RTA 2 and 6.70

this remake emphasizes the pain and torturing theme of Akasha. Without Losing her banshee nature at all.

Akasha

  • Stacks count any skill of Akasha including Shadow Strike itself. And they are counted only if they are casted in 500 radius or less.
  • If Scream of Pain is casted in less than 500 radius and have "Agony" buff, Strike gains Special Agony buff thats last as long Shadow Strike remain duration, but duration cant be refreshed or reduced .

  • Lose a lot of early potential.
  • Lose 10% intial slow.
  • Because it is based in % deals less damage than a constant in early, but much more in late .
Pros
  • Gains a lot of potential on mid-late game.

Sorrow Vanish

Short distance teleportation that allows one to move in and out of combat. Because of this akasha is not pure substance for small duration becoming inmune to damage for certain time, but takes some physical damage after cast. Enemies near of target area get damage in a small area, if they are directly inside of emerge point, damage is doubled.

  • Gives a new style to blink making it deal damage and double it if you are skill enough to land it, making it more fun to play .
  • Lose 1 second cooldown.


Agony Sigh

The Queen of Pain lets loose a piercing howl, damaging nearby enemies soul making them fall into Agony*.

Intention of my remake:
  • Maintaining her chasing and ambushing skills.
  • Making her more useful in ganks by reducing some of the main risks, but therefore making her even more positioning-dependent.
  • I don't want to change too much, because Akasha is already pretty good and I think many people like playing her. I'll focus on changing some parts of the workout and adding interesting and useful feats.

Explanation:

Shadow Strike:
I tried to make it a bit more position based and at the same time add some AoE damage to improve her theme. It's actually more or less a buff, but I think it's needed. The new concept of the skill is to hit multiple enemies if possible, but still, as the slow only hits the target, she will still try to focus that hero down, which is the essence of the skill.

Blink:
A small change with huge effects. It is a buff, but it costs the same amount of MP as a Blink, so it's sort of balanced. The Return makes it safer for her to go into team clashes (although she still shouldn't go in there too early, stuns will still own her). Furthermore, for a lot of MP, though, she can combo this with Scream of Pain to harrass or kill enemies without getting too deep into danger.

Sonic Wave:
The damage grows weaker through the course of the game, so I decided to add an effect which doesn't loose power. It also helps her to kill enemies more safely and finish the remaining enemies off after having killed one. Aghanim now focuses more on the bonus effect, improving damage only by a little.
