^Forcing them to not play -em is the best way for them to learn, IMHO

Agreed. If they are spoon fed they will not succeed. Then again, its not good to throw them too far into the deep end and scare em off. A good balance is needed, so Garena is perfect. Apart from a few stomps its usually low - mid skill.

Dont suggest bnet. I want to enjoy DIV games without the fear of having newcomers in the game.

I dont think you get the point, this guide is for newer player.

Also, I suggested putting better platforms such as RGC or DLG on section for advanced/experienced players.

I am just saying that the link Official DotA : AI Maps should get improved. Following the link you get tons of other links with titles not everyone will know what they are about.

About the manual, video manual would be nice as well. Just about 2 mins dedicated to the basics, then a few about laning, ganking, farming, supporting, etc.
Nothing as complex as Luminous' guides though.
