Thumbs up iinvoker Epic Action filled game

I had to take a break from my exams (2 hours of sleep last night)...

One of my more action filled games with lots of back and forth action from both teams, definitely worth watching. Early game was a little "sloppy", but I manage to catch up and it gets interesting from there

We couldn't end the game fast enough despite getting mid rax early with aegis

Lots of blinks + LOTS of spell chaining, Invoker apm: 234

Interesting/funny things to look out for

-2 of my teammates died to ROSHAN when it had around 100 hp left, and sent just jacked it <---Probably why we lost LMFAO
-early game alacrity on summons (occasionally)
-Tornado+sunstrike on Mirana at around 57 Min mark
-was experimenting with late game satanic on invoker
-I almost finished my sheepstick on my crow =(

Enjoy, and comment please (it encourages me to post more replays)!~

p.s: I disconnected near the end so I couldn't save the replay, but Mirana did, so this replay is from the point of view of sentinel, not scourge.

Where's the ghost staff man

It would seem you got outcarried, hard. Just look at the heroes. Especially Spiritbreaker with treads MoM and 2 recipes

DLing replay.

edit: wait. 80min t.t

I threw the ghost staff in the trash can =p

Just kidding, I wanted to build better items but as you can see I got a little lost after I got my satanic and didn't know whether I should save for buy backs or not

LOL @ dling replay and download counter sits at 0, what a liar!

Actually it's parser failure as he had buriza and hyperstone, but either way he was a liability imo, same with techies

man... this replay show how to play invoker, but also show how not to play techies + pudge + SB and ES!

for several times you hold the whole sentinel team while your team didnt push any lane, is just sad you lost, but with that team... no way to win

btw, nice the replay contain sentinel chat that show how they were afraid of you the whole game, wish i could play like this ^^

Your team is crazy with Aghanim's Scepter. Lolx.
Better crazy with Ethereal Blade or Ghost Staff. xD

Yep, even sent team was surprised how we couldn't win it

The really frustrating part is how both my teammates were dumb enough to die to roshan, turning the game completely around like a moron

I also didn't understand why they coudln't push a lane by themselves while I was trying to hold one on my own too

Alacrity early game on summons For what? Your invoker replays on the other hand are always instructive(not too good here with invoker though I have seen a few friends literally master him). Watching now :3

PS: I am your fanboi

This game is not ur fault obviously. You played very well and your allies were kidding around/bad. Going all the way back to kill Roshan when you are in their base is not serious. If they hadn't left, you could have ended the game right there by taking 1-2 rax.

Guinsoo would have been better than Satanic here, but there's no way to know on the spot.
I loved that Tornade + sunstrike kill, well done!!

Also, in the last teamfight, ES walked in on them, got silenced, and got killed before he could do anything. He had dagger ready the whole time. So it's really one of those games that you just have to lose!

Thanks for watching

I'm glad people are starting to see how to properly use blink on invoker, I received some heavy criticisms when I first suggested it

You're beyond good! First time I see Invoker out-carry PotM, lol
BTW, when you used Tornado and Sun Strike, sometimes you cast SS too fast.

Yea it's kinda tricky trying to get the timing right sometimes, definitely have to work on that

and man I was thinking about these luxury items I can have on invoker and Satanic actually worked out pretty good, so I think I'll incorporate that into my item build from now on

the real question is what I should get next after that (if a game this long ever comes up again lol)

Thanks for watching

Obviously your team mates where bad. The Techies became useless once a gem as bought. The rest of the team at least was useful if uncoordinated. I expected a rape fest bottom lane but it turned out the opposite.

However I have one criticism. I did not like how you did not get level 2 invoke for a long time. I think you died and failed to get many kills due to this early game. Not until after level 10 did you get level 2 invoke opting to get wex instead. A couple of missed Sun Strike opportunities but that happens to everybody.

Also you seemed somewhat jumpy. Using dagger to escape when you where in not that much danger when team mates where getting killed.

I might sound critical but really the rest of the play was pretty good.
