Default [Remake] Chen's Test of Faith


Old: Test of Faith
Test of Faith
If cast on enemy, will deal variable damage based on the unit's faith. If cast on allied Hero, it will teleport the hero to safety. Instantly teleports Chen's persuaded units to safety.

New: Test of Faith
Test of Faith
If cast on enemy, will deal variable damage based on the unit's faith.



Old: Holy Persuasion
Holy Persuasion
Takes control of a target enemy unit.

New: Holy Persuasion
Holy Persuasion
Takes control of a target enemy unit. If cast on allied Hero, it will teleport the hero to safety. Instantly teleports Chen's persuaded units to safety.

Its not for fit, its coz of balance, when in battle 5v5 sometimes i target wrong target, since this skill is doing dmg for enemy and teleport for allies.
Coz they will be different skills i think it would be cool

Interesting idea, but that could make Test of Faith a useless skill, because nobody actually picks chen for damage. That's why I'm not convinced yet.
Null, the idea isn't bad, but it might lack in the workout.

Then what about:
Test of Faith
1lvl:50-100 Damage to foes, Holy Persuasion casting time lowered for 0 seconds
2lvl:100-200 Damage to foes, Holy Persuasion casting time lowered for 1 seconds

Or even it can be:

I have been thinking for ages to suggest the exact same thing.

It would be much better for chen. Especially in lategame where you actually can use your nuke in team clashes which means you cannot use your the teleport function.

While in early game it is either not skilled or you have mana issues. Considering that many chens in the later stages of the game dont use creeps to the extent they did in the early game (due to many reasons; among them the fact that creeps arent as influential plus potential active items hinder chen to use their abilities well - imagine 4 active abilities, his slow, his nuke, and probably 3 creep actives to control in a clash) this suggestion makes even more sense.

This suggestion should really be considered. Chen is not weak but this "tweak" would help him a little to perform his role as a support to a better extent.

IMO, your suggestion makes all sense and is pretty positive.

However, I don't know why couldn't exist a sub-ability to differ both Test of Faith roles.

PS: Test of faith has nothing to do with saving allies units IMO.
Neither Holy persuasion has with saving allies...but, theme isn't that important and the practical consequences would be great if you're suggestion would be implemented.

I just played a game with Chen where I not once used the teleport function. And when I see others playing Chen I see it once in mb 20 games. Dont think it is supposed to be like that.
