Default [Minor] Storm's Ball Lightning

Problem:
Ball Lightning is a complex skill with both: offensive and escaping potential. It can target 2 different things: Ground (point) or Enemy. When you're using the skill offensively, you have a little bit of time to think better where to click, but when you're using it to escape you'll have to act really fast to do it successfully depending on the situation...

That said,
I dare saying at least a half of enthusiastic Storm Spirit players have already faced one of these 2 death sentences:
  • Unable to target friendly units
  • Unable to target buildings

The fast reaction you had trying to cast Ball Lightning to flee can be retarded by this little missclick on a tower or even a friendly creep... As time is crutial, specially when escaping, this means death in some situations.
How to fix it:
A minor change in targeting system that allows allied units and buildings as targets, taking their coordinates as the point.

No cons or pros applies here, just a minor change in targeting system...

TUp, although I think you could remove unit targeting altogether and just make it point targeted all the time. That should fix the problem as well afaik.

I don't know if changing it to point targeted would automatically make all units/buildings automatically available as targets (their positions), but if it works this way, it's even easier. [:

you can target ground. there is an infinitely greater ammount of ground than there is allied units or buildings. why dont you just CLICK THE GROUND NEXT TO THE UNIT??

There's a common case where the enemy heroes walk around the towers and you can't click the enemy heroes because the tower's click point is in the way.
