Default [VISUAL]Pudge Hook Indicator


Hi!
I'll keep this brief: my idea is to add a small (pulse?) allies-only visual effect on Pudge whenever his Meat Hook successfully hits a target (at the moment of impact). Something subtle and simple (like magic stick charge gain).

Justification:
  • Pudge would feel when his hook hits something (kind of like fishing) so it makes sense
  • Would help with invisible heroes and blind/fog hooks (speed up reaction time)
  • Would help newer players (lots of heroes have helpers, why not Pudge)
  • Effect or effect size could be dependent on target hit (creep or hero)


Drawbacks:
  • Experienced players may not consider it necessary
  • Would disadvantage wind walk ability (whether skill or item)

Sorry if this was posted before, but I couldn't find anything about it. I'm interested in your opinions

Sorry for not being too specific. I'm talking about a very subtle effect like the magic stick charge.
To be more specific, something like a short pulse or wave like Vengeful Spirit's Command Aura which would last about 1 second. I'm not too good with the WC3 World Editor but I will try to make some screenshots when I get home.

Current one is just simple and good as it is... no need for more effects... also this doesn't make sense... I mean when you hooked someone you already see it cause this unit will be next to you in 1 sec. An effect would just be useless or just even ugly...

Oh yeah? what about invisible units, do you see them? And also, when you hit a hook at max range in the fog, knowing if it hit would make a big difference because it would give you extra reaction time (especially against heroes with fast escape mechanisms like Magina).
