Lightbulb Hex visual for flying units and heroes...


While I was playing one of my rare WC3TFT games, where I actually play the game and not DotA or something like that, I've noticed that, when hexed (Voodoo), land units turn into random land creatures (frogs, crabs, hermit crabs and so on) and flying units turn into random flying creatures (albatrosses, vultures, etc.), and if polymorphed (Guinsoo), land units turn into sheep and flying units turn into flying sheep.
Wouldn't be good if it was same for DotA?
That, for example, Phoenix or Obsidian Destroyer turn into a flying creature instead of land one when you use Voodoo on them, or when you use Guinsoo on them, that they turn into a flying sheep instead of a normal ones and also that harpies turn into flying sheep/random flying creature instead of just chickens.
Only unit that does this is black drake.
Well, that's what I suggest here.
That flying units, if possible, when hexed, turn into flying creatures instead of land ones and when polymorphed, turn into flying sheep instead of normal ones.
Hex and Polymorph abilites will become much better, way more interesting and more eye appealing than everyone being turned into chickens (witch is plain boring and dumb).
I mean, even description of the skills says that Voodoo turns into random critter and that Guinsoo turns into sheep.

Also, I suggest that Guinsoo's special ability is renamed into Polymorph (since that's what it is actually and not Hex, witch is different ability) and that Voodoo is renamed into Voodoo Hex since Voodoo is too wide concept.

I actually prefer sheeps for land units and flying sheeps for flying units
Don't know why sheeps are not used, even for couriers
Chickens should stay as a courier

Sheep are used for units hexed by Guinsoo since it uses Polymorph ability, and various other creatures are used for units hexed by Voodoo since it is actually a ladder Hex ability (correct me if I'm wrong).

Well I'll be.
I've also tested it and it's true, turns everyone into bloody chickens!
I could have sworn that Guinsoo turns units into sheep and Voodoo into other various creatures.
Maybe chicken is only for creeps and sheep/various for heroes?

You can set the unit to whatever you want, but the unit cannot attack or cast spells. Make them a fking infernal if you want to.

OT: Sheep for ground units and Flying Sheep for flying units. But the problem here is the units that are flying aren't considered as Flying units by the War 3 Engine. So you'll have to work around that

Yeah, Viper, OD and such actually hover. They aren't flying units.

Therefore Icefrog decided to remove the sheep model.

In Dota, the 'flying' units like Puck and OD don't count as flying units (they can't fly through trees)
So it will turn them to ground units' critters

But why didn't Destroyer/Viper/Puck trigger Goblin Land Mines originally and it had to be fixed?
/edit: Looked it up myself: It's because they have movement type: Hover.

I don't understand that, but dude, why would they cry if sheep was killed in DotA?
I mean, I wouldn't cry even if donkey or dalmatian dog were killed in DotA.
Just for info, I come from part of Croatia called Dalmatia and I'm dalmatian (woof; lol).
Also, donkey (but we use term more similar to 'ass' than 'donkey') is, together with dalmatian dog, a mascot of Dalmatia (not to mention that rest of Croatians have nicknamed us 'asses') and it still wouldn't bother me to see a donkey or dalmatian dog killed in DotA or in any game what so ever.
At least not to the point where I'll cry and be unable to play the game and demand for it to be changed.
I don't plan to drag the rest of the World down with me only because of my personal issues!
If you want to make DotA 100% none offensive, then turn in in Tofu Wars (or Defense of the Tofu) where only tofu is present and where one tofu casts tofu stomp ability given to him by tofu staff that he bought in tofu shop in order to kill other tofu... because it's healthy!

couriers usually get buffed to range so there shouldn't be any confusion plus wth is your courier doing next to you during battle ?

Anyways.. MAJOR T-UP...

..and IT SHOULD BE POLYMORPH. First time I used Sheepstick I thought that it had the "Polymorph" ability, like the Sorceress....

Yeah, but then Voodoo and Guinsoo would actually share same skill.
If they do it like I suggested, then it would be two different skills (Hex and Polymorph).
I know that difference is mostly visual, but still, it will look better that way.
