Default Yurnero's Omnislash cast animation.


Something that struck me recently as I was playing DotA, Yurnero being one of my favourites as a model/hero, is that he does nothing before casting Omnislash. He simply stands up right and it bothers me tbh. It bothers me because it doesn't fit his show-off style with his big sword and muscled body IMO.

IIRC Yurnero's model has an animation where he raises his sword towards the sky. If possible to add that as a casting animation for Omnislash. I believe that would be an awesome detail which would fill the gap. The problem is that I have to map-making knowledge to show to those of you who may not know what I'm talking about.

Yurnero would appreciate it if someone would volunteer to make a test map.

Edit: As though Yurnero is guided by his blade to perform the coming action.

I don't really like the idea of adding an animation to something that doesn't have animation as that could be the difference between casting it and not casting it. Besides, I think Omnislash is flashy enough as is. T-Down/Null.

It would be awesome if his first half of crit animation (jump strike) is used, He jumps then omnislash

How long is that castpoint? IIRC its like 0.2 seconds, wich makes the animation barely noticable

i think the current "no animation" animation is epic..as though he's looking at his target with not much action/stance and suddenly omnislashes it...awesome IMO
