This is notably a LOT more than what battlefury gives you, and for about 1/5 of the price. With 3.225 mana regen, in the 12 seconds between each dragon breath cast, you gain 38.7 mana back.

The thing about getting battlefury for farming, why would you do that when you can just farm with your dragon's breath and like a maelstrom? soul ring + maelstrom costs less than the battlefury and I'm pretty sure it would give more DPS considering battlefury's bonuses in ranged form aren't particularly helpful

In my free time I enjoy talking to myself, I like pulling pranks on people using my illusions, I go invisible sometimes just for the hell of it, and other such things. Recently I've been buffed and now I have 2 more Illusions. These guys are new, but they seems to fit in well and know what they are doing.

Raijin behaves much like a storm, starting out weak early on, then gathering power over the course of the game until he becomes an unstoppable force of nature.
II)So,what Icefrog wanted to say?(again this is mine personal opinion which will most likley differ yours,but I will try to be detached as much as I can)
1.arguably the best non stop movement of any hero - well much said,also this might be the reason why other hero attributes(not stats generally)but all things that makes one hero:move speed,attack and cast animations,attack range,spells,sight range,damage etc... aren't in focus. Why? BEcause we would make him to imbalanced. e.g. Spectre: lets give her dagger ability to stun alll units on path and deal 500 damage on 4th lvl,make her sight flying,give her attack range of 500(even she''s melee),make her move with 400 starting ms.
As we can see this isn't good because Spectre will become superior to all other heores in all game periods.
2.When equipped with a lot of items - This means:a) he needs items to be effective(as all heroes do,I mean that's selfexplaning)
b) He belong to the group of heroes that needs items more then some other group of heroes
3.Raijin relies partly on his physical attack and partly on his spells to defeat his enemies. - This one says he have dual roles and we need to take care of both of them. I will try to explain this with damage and AS example.
When you are building phyisical dpser you must take care about two major things: D(damage) and AS(attack speed) so baiscly dps-damge per second(T-total dps) mean how much time you will hit your enemy with damage in fixed time intreval. Or
X*Y = Z or AS*D=T
So idea is to make AS and D as alike as you can. Because it will increase your dps most. I now see I got maybe a little too far so I will show this with one simple example: 4*4 is more then 5*3 or 6*2. Sum of all this numbers is 8 and we balance both sides we will get the highes result.
4.Static Remnant is his main source of spell damage - this is much self explaining,although note spell damage isn't necessary magic damage,and with long ball of lightining you can deal more damage
5.Electric Vortex is a very powerful disabling spell, which grabs a target enemy and drags them to the Storm Spirit. - Which also: reduce his ms by 50%,have 300 cast range and 20 sec cd. Note I'm not saying it's good or bad,I'm just bringing some facts
6.Overload completes this combo, giving the Storm Spirit's next attack a blast of electrical energy whenever he casts a spell. - And more facts from playdota: Overload slows all affected units' movement speed by 80% and attack speed by 50% for 0.6 seconds,has 275 aoe
7. However, Raijin's signature ability is definitely Ball Lightning.This teleportation spell has no cooldown and no maximum range, which means Raijin can bounce about as much as he wants, as long as he has the mana and regeneration to support the high cost of the spell.

III) Why the hell I make this thread?
Good question,to waste mine and yours time. Because I love playing this game and want to be part of it in as many aspect as mine situation allows me to.

The Main problem of this thread was consisted in tittle. The reasin why SS is picked is his ultimate(other factors are also important ,but this one is dominant by far). So what will happen if we do what I suppose:
It would make dodging projectiles far more easier,which is the point why I make this thread.
But note it will just make things easier because unlike other invurnable baised-dodge abilites you must click ON something to teleport TO,if something is TOO near some projectiles might hit you anyway.
Now I will compare BoL(B) with other invurnable baised abilites:
1.Phase shift:You can stop it at any moment(not sure if sames go for B) you only need to press hotkey once, it has 0.1 cast time, and it's not ultimate. Ofc there are other factors I could bring out but I find them irrelevant on all this comparation.
2.Astral Imprisonment:Well I have another interesting proposal(s) let's make AI cast time 0.1 and double click self cast too. AI have 0.25 sec cast time,and you can't exit at wish,you must wait for full duration,ofc its's not ultimate.
3.Cyclone(eul): Pretty much same as meant two,although you don't lose collision size
or hide and you can't cancel it at will.No cast time as it's item spell.
4.We might also include leap,burrow strike,methamorphosises and inv baised abillites but please do not.
So conclusion: When we compared all invurnable baised-dodge abilites we must perceive:
a) ball has the longest cast time
b) only ball is the ulitmate skill
c) at this current moment it's the hardest to use
Iin order not to get confused please note I class difficult by next criterium:
How much time you need to cast it, how much time you need to click buttons in order to cast it,and where should you click ON to cast it properly(be aware that the 3rd criterium is baisicly only important at B)
So lets test all spells with previously wrote criterium:
PS: 0,1 ; once ; /
AI: 0.25 ; once ; on self
Cyclone: 0, double or self
B: 0.3 ; double ; somewhere on terrain

I hope I have proved validity of this thread,or something like that and will would be pleased most if we could continue discussion(assuming you will also bring some valid arguments).

Alas, as time went by, no one did. And Ice Frog's frustration would eventually come to grow, to the point where he could no longer forget about it. I believe Ice Frog has now made a final attempt to make us discover his nifty little prank, by placing certain clues in the map.

Recently, shops were given animations which played when players selected them. Here you can see Sentinels' secret shop, playing it's animation.



After a few seconds, the animation finishes, and he sort of freezes. In this state, one of his arms points in a direction. Guess where? That's right! To the boat located in top lane.



And here you can see Scourges' secret shop, pointing towards the other boat located in bot lane.



Are you still a bit skeptical? The proof doesn't end here. I have been observing Roshan for extended periods of time, and it appears that he is more often than not looking in two certain directions.

By now I think you now where he's looking.







I have also noticed other creeps behaving unusually. This Elder Jungle Stalker for example, can be seen glaring at the boat located at bot lane. He is clearly aggravated by this nonsensical occurrence.

Unlike Deso holders don`t have that problem but may or may not need high damage output (Veng, Mirana). Also Gondar may use Deso as a support tool due to his ult (WW → Jinada + deso-attack → ult → WW (if ready, another hero) → Jinada + deso-attack → ult (another hero) etc)

What we see now? High cast range of MoC so confuses many ppl that they suggest doing it wrong. So reducing MoC cast range to 600 makes a difference in use of both items.

Deso also needs a slight buff (-6armour → -7armour) to make it worth buying for its price and worth difference between Deso and AC debuff.

Optional suggestion: if we use MoC for ganks then survivability is more viable than mana regen. So change Chainmail + Sobi to Helm of Iron Will. I think HoIW has not a good usage in Veil. Also we have already mana+armour combination in RoB and I think RoB masters with that role a bit better. Other reasons are pathetic but I also name some: sobi is overused in 6 items and as a component in other 2 items, components take less slots in inventory

EDIT: if you totally disagree with me try in game to use both items as I discribed above

Return damage is rather weak as well. Basically very late game, it returns like 70 damage per attack. More reason to not attack centaur.

The problem here is that the Scourge do not have an intrinsic energy source. The Lich King has to keep his throne cryogenically frozen, which as we know consumes a lot of energy.

Additionally, the Lich King's domain is a frosty, barren wasteland. How, in this situation, can ghouls and necromancers survive? The Scourge can resurrect warriors, sure, but from where do they seek their sustenance? If they eat corpses, they lose potential ghouls.

Hence, one of the only sources of sustenance for the Scourge army is to feed off each other. If their hunger is not satiated, they will lose efficiency in battle. Also, most Sentinel forces are composed of Treants, hence primarily inedible except for monstrosities like Pudge who will eat anything.

And finally, the Scourge are primarily savage beings who have no reason for order amongst their ranks, each seeking to satiate their base urges. If not for lieutenants like Abaddon who keep order and instil fear [which is the primary motivator apart from the id], the entire army would have fallen apart by now.

Therefore, due to the combined factors of incompatibility of cold with chaos, lack of sustenance and lack of discipline, order and efficiency due to no clear leaders, as well as greed and lack of a unified and necessary objective ensures that the Scourge will fall much sooner than the Sentinel.
