I don't think adding numbers to everything is the way to go.
Maybe make the channeling animation sinks and make it always end at a certain point. |

Can't it be a loading bar which is placed over the hero or something. It'll be similar to doom's devour interface but it'll be cleaner and smoother. Now that I remember it, that devour suggestion had a cleaner and smoother animation than the one that we have now.
I'm giving this a t-up since it'll help a great number of players.. |

Might as well be that. I agree that flooding the screen with timers may not be the universal answer, but at least there's no arguing its effectiveness.
Your idea is also good. I can't code for shit, but would be nice if someone could make some kind of representation for it. |

I prefer some kind of animation than numbers but if that can't be done, I guest it's ok to use timer.

Show the lower part of TP (scaled smaller) if TP will finish cooldown after 10 seconds... Only allied can see the effect... |

T-Up as well. The delayed TP sometimes annoyed me especially when it is delayed even though the allies already finished teleporting
