If you wanted to be sneaky sneaky, perhaps the banning could be implemented as a default part of -ap? That way, when all the noobs go for TW, Clinkz, Drow, etc, they end up banning them instead of picking them xD
But more srsly, I like the idea of casual banning. T-up for this! |

Looks good on paper but unless it is by default then public will never use this mode.
How does it work 1 ban per one player?

Switch mode is not default now, but it is used all the time on casual platforms, so it's up to community. Besides, hosts are people too and they want to ban something sometimes too ![]() About your second question. I see this like this: After game started, you see all those standart taverns and that big red "BAN" inscription, just like in -cm. You click on one hero, thus banning him, and all other hero icons disappear for you until picking phase (or its analogues, if it's -sd, -rd, -ar or something). All banned heroes will be excluded from pool (so you won't be able to pick them in -ap and noone will get them in -sd and -ar; also, they won't be in -rd pool, though it doesn't mean that you will have less heroes to choose from in -rd, you just won't see banned ones there).

^That's a shame. I was almost looking forward to tricking the noobish players into banning the noobish heroes
/troll This would actually get some use in pub games I reckon, because as you say, there would be plenty of hosts who'd like to ban certain heroes without going through the formal banning process and this allows them to do that. |

It is one of the idea I thought before and was to lazy to suggest it. T-up.
What is more, it is fun that people still consider Riki as every noob's pick. It is relic of the past. |

Yes please. I want this so badly. Can't wait to ban XXX hero. I hate XXX, a lot, because XXX has such imba spells that always ruin my picking of YYY.
On a more serious note, maybe this'll could actually integrate mid-level pubbies with higher standards. I bet people could learn a lot from playing this mode.

Considering its an optional game mode.. why not?
I mean its only really going to see use in pub games, and sometimes i just play a pub game to have fun with a certain hero. I guess since you can choose whether you want to play it or not, i'll give it a t-up. |

big T-UP. whenever i play a pub game, i tend to look for sd / ar / rd modes just because i want to see some other heroes. i'm sick of playing with/against the same heroes over and over again. also, like someone mentioned before, it can work as an 'instructive' mode (i mean helping noobs to get a little less noob :P)

I feel ya bro.. but there might be a problem with stacked friends banning crucial counters. I know you could say stacks usually win against randoms anyway- but more often then not I do have ~2 good allies and the game gets quite good. It might get too hard to turn the odds
